Had a schedule change for YUL-VIE, was 21st of July bumped to 22nd. Seems the direct flight is not available 7 days a week now. Was proposed flights with a stop over in FRA. Called to have them book the direct flight...blows my mind how they would do this on paid J tickets. Anyways, I also had a pair J tickets booked with points but that was rebooked on the direct flight automatically, just had to confirm the dates. Never even got an email about this. Just noticed on my bookings page...good job AC!

I was looking for this and I know I'm not the only one who enjoys betting against Helga in the cancellation stakes:

The EU slot waiver is set at 64% until the end of summer 2022 (29OCT).

September and October still need to be cleaned up.

The runt of the litter, SN, is especially vulnerable to cancellations because the airline was already on life support even before Covid.

The fine tuning of the S22 schedule will probably happen at the end of this month...

September/October? Did LH already clean up as far as August?

The ticket would be usable from the date of issuance? Book this few for October 22 and then fly July based on validity?

Did I see it correctly in LH schedule that for now at least there will be no F offered on FRA-SIN-FRA until start of Winter 2022 schedule - till then a/c seems A343 all the way?

Since the A346 & A380 are parked and the B748 busy flying to other markets due to stronger demand, the situation is likely to stay that way.

Do you know which dates/periods within S22 have been impacted?

I'm booked on the 744 on YVR-FRA-YVR in early and mid April, and praying that the 744 doesn't get swapped out (the 744 has a nostalgia factor for me that the 748 doesn't). So far most North American routes in April I've checked haven't had an equipment swap.

North America got more B744 love and the A343 got moved to previous B744 routes in Asia.

Interesting. For April I'm still only seeing the 744 on BOS-FRA and YVR-FRA (which have been on the schedule for a while now), but maybe I'm not looking in the right places!

EDIT: now I see MCO-FRA on the 744 in April as well.

Didn't ORD have two 748 daily previously for summer. I'm seeing their 4 pm is still the 748 and now their late night flight is the 340. And on a separate note where do find the route schedule. Was looking at LOT Krakow to ORD on a Sunday and now I see that changed to a Monday.

I am also wondering the answer of this question. If someone has information, that would be truly appreciated.

Thanks Oliver. Understandable to put the planes where the demand is. I think SIN did always well with F (paid), but we first need to see more places opening around the region I guess to lift overall traffic.

We went with SQ Biz instead which won't be hardship either (going SIN-FRA // MUC-SIN) and is direct as well. That versus LH Biz on an A343 wasn't really a tough call (SQ F was too pricey).
