The lounge situation at HKG is appalling, no *A lounge, they all closed & as of last Month the Plaza First lounge was still serving the same c—p as the other Plaza lounges….. only saving grace at HKG is the HON & F service which is superb…. the Station management know how dire the lounge situation is & are working on it, please do report back

Lounge situation remains a sad affair. Essentially only two options available: Plaza premium first and the centurion lounge. The Amex lounge wins hands down, plaza premium was just way too crowded and darkish. I missed in both a changing room or some space to do this in a decent way. Food nothing to write home about, either here or there. So Amex wins because it is less crowded and has some leafy air to it. But none of the options has anything to do with First Class. Ground service, as mentioned by chris63 was indeed superb.

Thanks for reporting back, the F&B is awful at Plaza, cheapest they can find & they don't even have bottled water, how they can call it ‘First’ is beyond me…. will be back there next Month, i am praying the SQ lounge will reopen …..

Escorting staff was well aware of the state of affairs, including recommending the centurion lounge (they even gave me a ride on the golf cart), as for the other lounges they said they don‘t know when they will reopen.

Yes, the excellent Staff there are embarrassed about the lounges, Golf cart is fun & very useful given the often considerable distances, did you get access to Centurion based on your membership or as LH guest ?

Indeed, they were embarrassed. Amex access was through credit card.

I am flying LH First from HKG to FRA in May 2024, and am randomly checking the lounge page on Lufthansa.
While business class and elite passengers are being sent to Silver Kris Lounge, First Class lounge gets access to the new Interval Sky Bar and Restaurant at the new Sky Bridge linking terminal one with the satellite concourse.

I know Intervals is just a unique lounge that is open to public as a restaurant and bar, as well as to Priority Pass and Dragon Pass and certain credit card premium members.
I wonder if anyone has actually tried this new lounge.
