That would mean a further serious devaluation of evouchers...

Maybe it will also allow to differentiate between SEN and HON regarding eVouchers?

Regardless, the consequences for me are not likely to be good.

Well, there is a significant difference already, HONs get multiple times as many evouchers as SENs...

I have to say, from the pictures, Air France premium economy seems much better looking...

its starts with the 747-8i in December. so wherever they go, Y+ goes. Entire long haul fleet completed by mid 2015.

That's not too bad looking actually. Surprised it took them that long!

Part of the delay was attributed to the new Business Class rollout. LH did not want to risk losing too many people from the old biz to the new Y+. Now with the calendar set for all the aircraft to get new biz by middle of next year, there will be less and less old C to compete against the new Y+. Actually its almost a perfect overlap and transition. If theres anything to blame its perhaps being a bit late to launch new Biz, but a lot of that hinged on the 748 as well.

However, having flown long haul several times on CX in Premium Economy, having a divider and curtain makes a big difference-- it creates a separate cabin that is quieter and more private, and reduces the amount of foot traffic going past your seat.
A complete curtain solution was considered but since E/CL is only a few rows the mock up gave a very cramped feel which customers didn't like.

In fact the first 748 will be rolled out in October, but only go on sale starting December. So elites will be able to access E/CL for free for about 6 weeks @:-)

The 600EUR upcharge is supposed to be on the S fare, not the super low L/T/K. Another mention was 50% on a comparable base fare. So a GFFxxx fare will be 50% higher than a HFFxx.

Are you sure free upgrades will be based on passengers' status and not on the fares paid?
