First official A380 LH longhaul destination is now Joburg on June 6. Special flight LH2010 with the german national soccer team to the soccer world cup in SA.

And it won't be on any system. This (single) flight is a charter operated for the german soccer association and will return empty to FRA. You could book seats on that flight as the Lufthansa Fanflug for about 1400€, and all are sold already - so this flight (LH2010) won't be bookable anywhere.

Yes, you are absolutely right about A380 will be introduce service from FRA-JNB beginning on June 6, 2010. So I didn't realize know that. So unfortunately, LH won't be put on A380 service FRA-JFK for while. LH will continuation to received more A380 will come online.

Lufthansa's first delivery at Hamburg is now set for May 19th. Then we will finally know more about the seating.

Here is a list of training flights and destinations for pilot training without pax. Maybe you can see it someplace?

Lufthansa Provided the weather conditions are good and allow the training flights to go ahead, theA380, named “Frankfurt am Main“, will be seen at the following airports: Monday, 31 May - Full-day flight training at Karlsruhe Airport Tuesday, 1 June - Full-day flight training at Leipzig Airport Further dates follow.

And here are the two other possibilities: Wednesday, 2 June - Line training on the Frankfurt – Stuttgart – Zürich – Vienna – Dresden – Linz – Munich – Frankfurt routes Thursday, 3 June - Line training on the Frankfurt – Berlin-Tegel – Hanover – Hamburg – Bremen – Dusseldorf – Cologne/Bonn – Frankfurt routes
