Another Great Steakhouse

I highly recommend CUT, Wolfgang Pucks new restaurant at the Palazzo (adjacent to and part of the Venetian). I eat at CUT frequently in Beverly Hills and the one in Vegas is just as good. In my opinion it is a better steakhouse than Delmonicos but just as if not more pricey. If you do check it out, make sure to get the kobe beef sliders as an appetizer.

Not Delmonico's

I did not like it, but I would try some other steaks around Vegas, there is a steakhouse in the New York, that I love, Prime at the Bellagio is very good, and Smith and Wollensky is excellent. I like good food but not stuff atmospheres, and Delmonicos was extremely stuffy, you just felt like you were in a museum and shouldn't touch anything I hate those places it ruins my meal.

Bouchon is very very good french bistro style/great wine list.
It is set by itself in the venezia tower-so no casino noise ^
Although the restuarant itself can be crowded/noisy at times.
I did not think the menu overpriced by Las Vegas standards.

Question on Sands convention center.

Is it nearby?

Thanks. I think I'm going with Aquaknox for dinner one night and Bouchon for breakfast too. Although, someone could talk me into Bouchon for dinner.....

Wanted to add Mr. Zipadee is OK bringing dress pants and shirt but doesn't want to pack a jacket. Opentable says jacket preferred at Aquaknox but I called the restaurant and says jacket isn't mandatory and hubby would be OK in pants and dress shirt (no T-shirt or sandals she said, which wouldn't be a problem) Anyone have any Aqua Knox experiences and is jacket mandatory, would he be the only one without one or no problem?

Some people dress up, but in pants and a dress shirt, you will be dressed better than average.

Bouchon is very good for breakfast as well as dinner. Make sure to check the dinner chef specials as I've had some great meals by ordering the specials.

I've gone to Aquaknox in polo shirt and jeans so jacket is not mandatory.

Bouchon should not be characterized as "very good" for breakfast. I would argue that it is the best in all of Vegas, hands down.

For quality, no doubt (try the yogurt parfait!). For the buffet crowd who like enormous portions, they should look elsewhere, the portions at Bouchon are sensible.

thanks Kingalien. Very helpful to know. In a previous post, you mention the chef specials. I take it you've eaten there more than once? Any particular server you recommend? And any fav foods or memorable experiences you can share? What brings you back to Aquaknox? (for what it's worth, Mon Ami Gabi and Mesa Grill are the other restaurants we booked).

Agreed. For quantity, I'd say the Bally's champagne brunch.

The chef specials was for Bouchon and yes, I've eaten there numerous times. I once had a special that was the best snapper I've ever had, perfectly done the way I like it. It was extremely flavorful and the skin was exceptionally crispy.

As for Aquaknox, the tuna tartare is my favorite followed appetizer. I've had the steak salad which is very good. However, my favorite dish is the fish soup which I order the majority of the times I'm there. And save a little room for their signature banana split ;). Have a great time.
