I'm afraid no more pics to show on this particular airport. As MichielR rightly figured out, Chinese characters. As indicated, it is not on the list of airports with people movers in Wikipedia, since this is not an automated people mover, which deletes quite a lot. Last clue, and now it should really be easy: it is a really big airport with more than 2 runways.

Looking at their current destination schedules could also be Sudan (KRT) or CAI assuming Afrika. Though that aircraft was active 1989 - 2004 so this picture could theoretically have been taken up to 30 years ago.... the current schedules may not be of much help..
In fact, Nairobi may actually be possible: Gulf Air did fly a 767 there back then: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38...lf-air-routes/

Most route maps I found for the past did not go any further South as Addis Ababa - I only found one for 1995 adding Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam but that seemed to have been short lived (and was not this century, reason why I ditched that option. I never came close to thinking it could have been ZNZ). Anyway, the right Sherlock Holmes is now up to the task of providing us with the next riddle - Saraoutou, floor is yours!
