Where in the world am I? | 2020 edition

I found this on the BA forum (credit to Prospero)

Lets begin 2020 with a new topic of "Where in the world am I?"

Inspired and originated by highlander100 back in 2015, the aim here is to truly weed out the travel geeks among us and shower them in all their glory

The winner will be awarded annually and bestowed with the true knowledge that they are a true Flyertalk KLM Flying Dutchman geek.

Here are the rules and they really are very simple:
1.Take an obscure photo of a KL location / destination you are currently in (or have visited recently). KL codeshare locations are permitted too

2. Post on this thread and add a clue (if you feel it’s required) The goal is then to be the first person to correctly guess the location.

3. The OP confirms who has the first correct guess

4. The OP updates the list in this post
If the winner has not won before, their name is entered and the post date/time they won is added below. If the winner has won before, the date and time of the post they won is added below their name.

1st: Solevita (post #6)
(EZE Buenos Aires). Photo#1 (post 3).

2nd: Arjen05 (post #17)
(ICN Seoul). Photo#2 (post 17).

3th: TLspace (post #25)
(HUY Humberside). Photo#3 (post 20).

4th: Arjen05 (post #34)
(NWI Norwich). Photo#4 (post 29).

5. To try and keep it further within the remit of the forum, I think double points should be awarded in the event that the OP can get a KL logo into the photo without giving the game away.
  1. Multiple guesses are allowed.
  2. Please try and keep it to one live photo at a time.

Fun thread, I will start with one that's not too difficult. Couldn't find suitable pictures of recent trips, so this one is from a few months ago.

All the info needed is in the picture

I like the thread as well. No clue for the picture so a wild guess: Bogota.

Like the thread too!

I'm thinking more Schiphol, personally, though I could be way off. Weather, airlines, types of vehicles and geography seem to match.

What looks to be a couple of Aerolineas Argentinas regional jets would point the finger at EZE?

EZE indeed, sharp observations. Only destination in the world where KL 787, LH 747, IB A340 and UX 787 come together, as seen on the picture. Next one!

Where exactly do I add Solevita as winner?

Took me a while just to identify the KL 787, the unpainted nose cone was a bit of a disguise

Looking at Prospero's post it seems there should be a wiki that is added to... Can a wiki be added to an existing thread?

Still open to interpretation.

KLM flies to airports, but I suppose that "destination" should be interpreted more broadly?

So . . . KLM flies to AMS, which is in the Haarlemmermeer, and next-door to Amstelveen, where the airline has its head office. The city of Amsterdam is further down the road. Does it qualify as a KLM destination?

KLM also flies to JNB in Kempton Park, and to CPT in Matroosfontein. Does Soweto count? Or Kirstenbosch? Or maybe the whole country? One could argue that South Africa is a KLM destination, after all?

This thread should be a lot of fun, just want to make sure I understand the rules here.
