Missing miles. Everything was ok on BP
I never thought it is possible to see missing miles when everything was ok on the BP. My FB #, status checked out ok. I checked in at counter. Went to lounge. But now, 6 days later.. still not miles.
I tried the online missing miles reporting section. The website says that I can do it within 72 hours if miles don't show up for KL flights. But yet after I enter all my info, I am told to wait 2 weeks?
Maybe its a 006 (DL) issued ticket and not the usual (074) KL ticket?

Maybe it is because you had a DL issued ticket. I should not take more than a week.
The other way (AF-KL flights for DL SM) it can take up to one week to see activity. The weirdest: flying CDG-AMS-KIX and 5 days between the first and the second leg to be credited.

Actually, some times it takes even longer than that - and I thought that the minimum waiting time beforea retro claim used to be 2 weeks; maybe that's the issue? Only alternative is a non-eligible booking class or confusion on the booking class and flying class in cases of codeshare flights (i.e. sometimes you book DL I which is equivalent to AF Z and it shows as non-eligible DL Z in the system)

..If you have earned Miles for AIR FRANCE or KLM flights and they have not appeared on your Flying Blue account within 72 hours, you can claim your Miles within six months of the transaction date.
..If you have earned Miles from our airline partners and they have not appeared on your Flying Blue account within two weeks, you can claim your Miles within six months of the transaction date by completing a form and sending it by post or fax.

KLM Flying Blue in Canada just advised me that they regret they cannot process my claim without the proper e-ticket info and boarding pass??? This is for a KLM flight !!
Aren't they linked that they can find the info within their systems? All other airlines for their own flights, they can access this info without me having to send in anything?
Is there somewhere I can send this in France instead? Am I dealing with morons at the FB Centre in Canada or is FB just manned by morons in general?

I have had to put in about seven retro-claims last year, and they all went exactly the same. Had to send all of my paperwork to France for processing and then never heard anything from Flying Blue again. After five weeks (minimum waiting time) complain to the wonderful KLM Facebook team and the miles are credited within 48 hours. Works like a charm every time.

Today is the 2 week mark that I took my flight.. so I managed to process the claim through the website. Now whether it gets accepted or not is another question... I will keep you informed.
