How much is Eco Comfort on BRU-AMS? 9 EUR?
So you are essentially paying 140 euros for a Wanders box and maybe a gin and tonic, if there's enough time. And a slightly higher chance of no seatmate, I guess.

I did see a lady with an American accent at BCN checkin insist to buy an upgrade for her flight to AMS. She'd already bought an upgrade for the long haul, and apparently was not content with not having an upgrade on the short haul too. I did not overhear the amount, but she paid there and then for it, no questions asked. The checkin agent looked puzzled...

I have an economy award ticket AMS-IAD and been scrolling through this thread. Can't tell, are people getting upgrade (for cash) offers on award tickets as well as on paid fares?
