If you calculate that on an 8 hour long haul flight it is like €3.000 euro. Hallucinating 😁
For the 3000 EUR you are at least getting a bed.

How much is Eco Comfort on BRU-AMS? 9 EUR?
So you are essentially paying 140 euros for a Wanders box and maybe a gin and tonic, if there's enough time. And a slightly higher chance of no seatmate, I guess.

funny enough J was full, 2 rows while I was at 6A without a seat mate. I am platinum so get EC for free.

149 is just ridiculous in every way.

I wonder if enough suckers buy to justify even maintaining the offer.

Or maybe they consider it a zero cost option as the cost is covered by longhaul?

I did see a lady with an American accent at BCN checkin insist to buy an upgrade for her flight to AMS. She'd already bought an upgrade for the long haul, and apparently was not content with not having an upgrade on the short haul too. I did not overhear the amount, but she paid there and then for it, no questions asked. The checkin agent looked puzzled...

AMS-CPT €599 or €299 plus 42.800. Not too bad for a 12 hour day flight.

BOD-AMS 69 Euro. Half empty flight. Likely due to free rebooking since danger of strikes on 15 March which did not materialise. In the end no one in business

I have an economy award ticket AMS-IAD and been scrolling through this thread. Can't tell, are people getting upgrade (for cash) offers on award tickets as well as on paid fares?

SVG-AMS 59 Euro
AMS-EDI 69 Euro (Upgraded onboard by the purser)

AMS-EDI 89 Euro (Upgraded onboard by the purser)
AMS-SVG 59 Euro

I found the prices reasonable if you have no status.
