to me, the difference between DL and B6 is pretty big. Having free fast wifi, unlimited tv is pretty big deal and same with the extra leg room especially in EMS. And I don't have to deal with RJ.

Btw, I would expect A220 to be a really great experience. The leg room should be the same as E90 and reconfigured A320. Still holding out for TATL A220 at some point. Maybe they will get the XLR version. I don't see an all mint version, but more of a mini-mint cabin for places will less premium demand.

Moulder3, by all account, A220 is a great experience and B6 version should have great leg room. Give it a chance when it comes out. I'm sure you will like it. My only regret is that they are not getting one until end of 2020.

I'm aware of that but they do have a reserve list and in this situation, the weather wasn't sudden. My point is they had time to plan in advance which they did not. Other airlines think and plan ahead in situations like this. Jetblue does not.

You seem really fixated on this point, but that's not how it works. At JetBlue, the aircraft type for the route is predetermined. Shorter and/or lower demand route = E190. Longer/more popular route = A320. I.e. it's not based on the demand on a particular day. When swaps happen, its most likely because there was a maintenance or scheduling issue with the original aircraft (or crew) or they need to re-position or re-route particular aircraft for maintenance, etc.

Check for yourself. NYC-ORD has one 320 flight per day (the first flight of the day, when most business travelers are headed out), the rest are E190. Thats just how it is.
