Based in DTW and fly both quite a bit. While DL's in-flight experience is good, I find B6's in-flight experience just a notch higher. Unless I can fly non-stop or the routing is significantly better on DL, I select B6. I've had B6 connections through BOS during all seasons (including Winter) and all have gone well. Even when I have experienced IRROPS with B6, B6 has handled it well.

I fly B6 to ORD often and have been impacted by IRROPs several times this year primarily due to weather. I can tell you from firsthand experience that the crewmembers at ORD are some of the nicest ones in the entire JetBlue system and I've been to a lot of Blue cities and am about to add 2 new ones in the next month. They will help you get where you need to go as quickly and as safely as possible. I've been stranded for a few hours and have been stranded overnight. No airline can control the weather. I would hands down choose them over Delta regional especially on a business route like BOS-ORD. On Delta, you'll be stuck amongst business travelers with status whereas on JetBlue everyone has an equal experience.
My only beef with JetBlue is earlier this year I was impacted by them cancelling flights 2 nights in a row due to bad weather in NY and then Chicago. I was lucky and went standby on a morning flight just for the heck of it and was the only standby who got on the flight. There were at least 20-30 people on the list including a lot of pilots. Had they pulled an Air Canada and just sent an A320, the entire standby list could have been cleared on one flight. The plane was coming from NY so I don't want to hear that an A320 wasn't available--I've had them subbed for E190s many times. This is the type of forward thinking that just isn't the norm at JetBlue. They knew the flight the night before was cancelled and that the next night had the possibility of being cancelled. The ones in between were full. And they know what the standby list looks like in advance. Instead, it probably took a good 3-4 days to recover when it could have been done in one flight.

While I get that the A220 will have better-designed overhead space (allowing for more bags), what other benefits does it have over the E190?
From what I've read in recent announcements, here are the quality drops in E190=>A220 on JetBlue:
1. Increase from 100 to 140 seats. It'll take longer to load/unload, get checked luggage...etc.
2. B6 version will have the awful & tiny SpaceFlex bathrooms(!) in rear. When announced B6 chose A220, I warned this could happen but everyone said Airbus wasn't configuring SpaceFlex on A220. So much for that!
3. Seat pitch will almost certainly be reduced, compared to E190 since that's happened on every new B6 config since all-core A321.
4. No middle seats on E190. There's a middle seat on A220 (and saying it's 1" wider doesn't offset that it's a middle seat)
I'm not questioning why B6 made the switch to A220...just questioning why customers (especially Jetblue loyalists) are excited for it.

Delta's middle seat is not wider. The wider middle seat is an option, but I don't know if any airlines actually took it. Delta's seats distribute the space evenly, so all the economy seats have the same width (18.6")

I have DL lounge access, so that would be the determining factor even if I were (just) a FO, assuming that we're not talking about a basic economy fare.
I'd probably look at frequencies and seat maps too, as well as checking fare class availability on EF to get a better idea about probable loads.

It is a full sized lav that just happens to be in the rear section. There may be some logistical challenges around getting to it with the crew back there working, but it won't have the space problems the A320 family sees.

I've been stranded by an E190 more than any other aircraft. I love the old seats but hate the reliability and dated everything else.
Doesn't really affect me in any way. I don't check bags. The loading process being 2 minutes longer is negligible for me.
Untrue as corrected in above posts.
Possibly in EMS but unlikely
I never choose the middle but the huge upgrade in IFE between the old E190 tiny screen and the newest offerings means I won't care if I'm in there.
Other pluses: Range and a quieter cabin. The changeover can't come fast enough.
I'm still gunning for an all Mint A220-300 for TATL to compete with the Baby Bus. That would be a dream.
