Is there any likelihood that service will begin in 2020 instead of 2021?

Pin for London as a destination.

Also, a few sources have suggested to me that a new Mint seat is in the offing. Maybe not announced tomorrow, but I bet it is coming. (link to a story I wrote)

I think the big question is where is B6 going besides London
On an unrelated note, it's a shame I don't see your posts on Boarding Area anymore

Appreciate the sentiment. I've been building up a new site that has a somewhat different focus (PaxEx.Aero, where the story above is linked) and chose to not fold that into the Boarding Area system. Some stuff I'm crossposting to the old blog, but not everything. Trying to find the right balance.

We have it on fairly solid authority that JetBlue's trans-Atlantic A321LRs will feature the Vantage Solo (B6 will be launch customer for this), with the Solo now sporting a sliding privacy door which was missing from Thompson's previous PR pics.

That's just the updated version of the current Mint offering right?

All suites across the Atlantic sounds terrific.

What is the likelihood that this is all just a JFK thing and BOS gets left out? I do know Terminal E at Logan is severely cramped now and for the next couple years,

Zero chance that BOS isn't involved. I would bet on it being a major component of the expansion as they are a major player there and with the Mint flights they have, it's a great base for TATL feeding.

So they are all suites? Would have been nice to have some next to each other for couples, but guess this is more for business passengers.

There's no way it'll be all J. This has been tried and failed almost every time (with BA001/002 being the lone survivor long term).

I think he means the seating arrangement for J itself, not the whole plane.

It looks like it'll be 1-1 as opposed to Mint's current setup.

Yes, all the business class / Mint seats are solos, so this is a 1-1 layout, one seat either side of the aisle and each with its own privacy door (compared to the current alternating 2-2 / 1-1 Mint class where only the 1’s have a door).

Those 1-1 seats don't look as nice as the current mint config. Don't like having your back to the window and don't like the way the seats stick out into the aisle.

I agree these look like a downgrade. Horrible for couples, looks more cramped, and hard to look out the window.
