heh, looks like they might have hit the wrong switch for a sec. trueblue showing:
Down for maintenance
We'll be right back
TrueBlue is currently undergoing routine maintenance. Please check back soon. We apologize for the inconvenience. Even though the page you requested isn't available, there are plenty of places on trueblue badges that will turn that frown upside down.
--------
regardless, the badges are what youd expect. 500 points to link to fb, 250 to link to twitter, 100 to sign up for badges. different scaled point values when you invite different numbers of friends, a number of badges with no points when you visit a new city, badges when you participate in member offers, etc
i think it makes a lot of sense in general. i dont know why other airlines dont do social media as well as jetblue (except maybe virgin?) but from my sampling of friends, people seem to be more than willing to give b6 some free advertising.

Badges is officially live now and public.
The Badges program is more than just earning bragging rights; a number of the badges can earn points, too. Between signing up, linking to Facebook/Twitter and a couple other things it is possible to very quickly end up with 1000 free points. And that's just the beginning.
There are things like bonus points for flying during your birthday month, bonus points for repeat visits to a destination and more.

You can get a total of 2000 points. If you invite 30 friends to join from facebook you get additional 900 points. They dont need to join, just invite them. Good deal.

I just took the few minutes to sign up and realized that there are probably enough people on FT and Facebook that we could make a reasonable number of points this way.
I'm not going to post my facebook email on here, but if someone were to PM me I'd be more than interested in letting them connect for the sake of badges...
