It was the 100 year anniversary of the Kyoto Botanical Gardens in 2024, and one of the celebratory events was Light Cycles, a nighttime light and sound experience in the glasshouses. You followed a preset route through four distinct areas with slowly changing light effects and themed music. Most of it didn't photograph well, but some of it looked amazing:

Toyama, A small city by the Coast of the Sea of Japan
My December visit to Japan brought me here. 2 days of rain and 2 days of sun. Always cold! Enjoyed this first visit. The seafood is beyond words!
