Thanks to a personal recommendation, I ended up at a Ringer Hut Premium and had a no noodle champon that didn’t feature on the English menu. Lots of vegetables, and it certainly hit the spot.
The Low Carb movement is definitely gaining momentum as even Yoshinoya has introduced their own lower carb offering

I think they call it the Rizap Beef Salad.
My own issue would be the beans as I don’t consider kidney beans or chickpeas (garbanzos) to be low carb, but these should be easy enough to discard.

If so, yes My Chanpon RH's are excellent. It's a different level of topping quality than regular Ringer Huts.
They only have a few locations unfortunately.

Premium Ringer Huts are different from the My Champon Ringer Huts. Premium branches have an expanded menu - there are options for extra vegetables, and there's also a non-noodled version. There seem to be three Premium locations in Tokyo, in prime locations, and one My Champon location (in the middle of Katsushika-ku).

Most regular Ringer Huts in Kanto are sort of disappointing. I’ve had MyChampon in Nagasaki and Kanagawa, and those are great... you can get heaps of fresh-tasting veggie toppings.

The big drawback - for us - to Premium Ringer Huts is that they don’t offer a child’s meal (okosama) even though these do feature on the online Ringer Hut menus.

FWIW, they sell Yoshinoya branded frozen packages of sliced beef here in States, which tides me over for my gyudon fix in between visits to Japan.

Pleased to see that, although it took a while, Ootoya made the list. It's only the only chain I've run into in Japan that lists calorie count on its menu for each item.

I've been to the one in San Jose a few times. Was probably ~10yrs ago. The San Jose menu is quite extensive, much more items than regular Ringer Huts in Jpn. Always had saraudon (the crispy noodle with toppings on it) and felt it was on par with an average RH in Tokyo.

It's BK-geddon, or maybe BK-pocalypse, as Burger King Japan closes more than 20% of their branches this month. https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=2...eyplus-bus_all

It wasn’t so long ago that BK returned to Japan.
Burger King Tokyo Friday
Still, BK’s successful return was questioned by a few regulars on this forum in that thread. Took about 10 years. (See post #25 )

Fall off your chair.
I was searching for photographs of Shakey's Pizza in downtown Yokohama. But I did not seem to take any photos of it.
Nonetheless, this came in handy one day in December 2012.
So instead; here are images of the hamburger meal I had at MOS Burger in Kamata, Tokyo.
It was OK. I needed to eat something before heading to a bar in Kamata this evening. I had an early morning flight from HND back to the USA the next day.

Was looking up Ringer Hut Premiums for an acquaintance who will spend a month travelling through Japan on a limited budget. I get what that does to your digestive system, so knowing where to get half a kilogram of vegetables and roughage affordably will be invaluable.
Saw this one next to Umeda Station in Osaka
https://shop.ringerhut.jp/shop/r1015
大阪府大阪市北区小松原町2-4 大阪富国生命ビル1F
Vegetable rich soup “no noodles” - in Umeda branch menu:

There is also this one by Kyoto Kawaramachi station
https://shop.ringerhut.jp/shop/r0666
京都府京都市中京区河原町通四条上る米屋町380-1 ツジクラビル1階
And they have the “pound of vegetables in soup” option (about 800yen plus tax)

This one isn’t a personal recommendation but “Shabu Yo” is on my radar as one of the cheaper “all you can eat” shabu shabu restaurants.
Price varies by how much meat you choose and what time of the day you go (or if you want a 60 minute or 80 minute plan), but the gist is that - at lunch time - you can get unlimited quantities of vegetables (as well as noodles and a few other ingredients) from 1,000 or 1,200yen upwards.
