I have an Austrian Customer Card and i was in some Contry visit there "local" Metro Store to buy some interesting Products.
Does anyone here visit an Metro in Japan?

I suppose you could, but they are intended for proprietors of businesses and not oriented towards non commercial customers. They also tend to be located in inconvenient areas where having a car is beneficial. I wouldn't spend my time trying to go to one. Hanamasa and Costco will do the job if you simply must visit those kinds of warehouse stores.

Gosh, and here I thought OP was looking for a store dedicated to the metro system with assorted subway related products, toys and historical items. Sheesh. That's what I get for a quick perusal of the post.

For that I would recommend the gift shop at the Tokyo Subway Museum.

(The subway-themed chopstick sets are quite nice.)

Well there is one in Koto-ku. That's quite close for a tourist staying in Ginza, Chiyoda-ku and parts of Minato-ku. Could be combined with a trip to Odaiba.

Costco on the other hand requires a trip to Kawasaki, Chiba city or Machida. The latter was closed for some time after the earthquake and was the site of the only (?) fatality on March 11, 2011.

True. It is, apparently, a 10 minute walk from Shiomi Station on the Keiyo Line. OTOH, there is a Costco at Shin-Misato Station on the Musashino Line that is about as walkable. The real question is: how does he plan on hauling back whatever he buys without a car? I've done it with a rolling suitcase and it is a pain.

Takkyubin! And if Metro or Costco can't get it sent (unlikely, but possible) there will be a nearby convenience store that can get the goods sent to the hotel.

Costco Makuhari does offer delivery service, or at least it did the last time I was there. So I presume other Costco stores do as well. I don't recall seeing a takyubbin pickup there, however.

I wonder if Don Quijote would meet the OP's needs.

I got stuff delivered from Costco Machida once, and it was via takkyubin - that was their delivery service.

Anyway I doubt that it would matter much to someone visiting Japan on vacation for a week or two.

Oddly enough the Costco Kawasaki does not offer delivery. But it's also incredibly inconvenient to get without a car. Times Plus to the rescue!

There seems to be a thriving business of buying foodstuffs at Costco and IKEA and reselling them. Even Nissin in Azabu-Juban resells Kirkland branded stuff at a considerable mark-up.

There was also a website that re-sells Costco stuff. In addition to things from Costco JP they also claim to stock items shipped from Costco in the US.

One thing about Costco is the time it takes to get there and tolls. For me it was maybe 20 min or less if the road is wide open and I could drive 100 km/h+) on the Shuto and tolls would be around 1600 yen round trip, so you have to buy a lot of crap to make up for that. Kawasaki was doable on surface roads but I would guess 40 minutes each way. When the final stretch of C2 opens then the drive should be much better. Or is it open yet? However, over 3 years and with a complimentary Costco card I never went there. I only once went to Costco in Chiba because I happened to be driving by.

Delivery to Tokyo from Costco Kawasaki costs Y1,132 for up to 30kg, or Y1,285 for up to 20kg if you want it kept cold.

I think it might also have to fit into a certain size carton, so 30kg of tortilla chips might cost more.

Been there. A train ride plus about 20 minutes bus.

You can have them deliver your purchase to the airport, and do your last minute packing there.

Just returning, to the OP, do Metro allow you to use your foreign Metro card in Japan?
