Ooops. Sorry. I wasn't paying attention.
If I had to make a 115 minute connection from HND International to HND T1 (JAL Terminal) I'd avoid checking luggage. Its doable. Domestic flights from HND allow check in up to 20 minutes before departure, I think. That said, I would probably opt for the ANA departure at 6pm. Depending on where the OP actually wants to go, the train may be worth considering, although the cost is higher than a discounted flight. You can get to downtown Osaka within three hours and the departures from Shinagawa are extremely frequent - every six minutes or so - so you won't be hanging around waiting. |

Would it have made a difference if I took ANA Explorer Pass instead of JAL? Is ANA easier to get to?
Like this flight, is this better? ANA To Itami 18:00-19:10Nonstop 1h25m |

The extra 30 minutes would be good to have, and make the connection reasonably comfortable.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier? Their website suggests limo bus to Osaka station, then free hotel shuttle bus from there.

Separate tickets:
NH 338 (NGO-NRT) 0850 Arrival into NRT NH 174 (NRT-IAH) 1140 Departure I'm thinking this should be more than enough time - considering checking bags - will NH send it to IAH without me collecting it? Couldn't find the official rules/ Thanks. |

I have been to Japan many times, so I should know something like this..but....still going to ask:rolleyes:
Anyone see any issues with this (and it is already booked on award travel). Part of my trip involves this: HND-KIX on ANA in Y arrive KIX 21:50 KIX-SIN-PER on SQ in J depart KIX 23:30, so a 1hr 20 minute connection Anyone see any problem with this? Seems to meet the MCT, but I always like to pad it a bit more than this. PS-the KIX ariport guide seems to suggest that a Domestic to Intl connection involves us landing as per any other domestic flight, getting luggage and then checking in again for the Intl Flight on the 4th floor.... That does not sound right to me. I would presume on Star A that my luggage would be checked all the way HND to PER, but do we have to go up to the 4th floor and hit security and customs/emigration? |

Your HND-KIX flight is domestic flight so has to do international departure formality at KIX. Also, domestic flights in Japan has slightly different liquid policy through the security than internationally adopted security procedure for international flights. Hence you have to go through the security again at KIX. You will go up to 4th floor departure st KIX and go through the formality same way as departing passengers originatingbfrom KIX. |

Especially under one ticket connection between Star A airlines, your luggage should be checked all the way to PER at HND with NH. You will not see your luggage at KIX.

Isn't this a 1hr 40m connection? Am I missing something or have you made a math error that makes this connection seem a little bit tighter than it really is?
