If your flight is on a weekend, you can take the through service at 1724 or 1804 to Daimon and walk one block to the Hamamatsucho monorail station. There are plenty of lockers where you can stash your bags. The weekday's last through service train is at 1604. Instead you can take the Access Express train to Oshiage station and transfer to the Asakusa subway to Daimon. |

Logical areas to stop would be Ueno on the Kesei Skyliner. Then after sightseeing on to Hamamatsucho Station or Shinagawa to get to Haneda. Tokyo Station is a good point to stop from sightseeing perspective. If you are not used to Japan the size and the layout of Tokyo Station can be very confusing. The Narita Express stops in basement level 5, so if you do stop here, store any luggage after reaching the surface. If you change to the Yamanote line at Tokyo Station, you can store your luggage at Hanatsucho Station, Roppongi is just a short hop away. Sorry again for mixing up your connect information it should have been clear enough. Even for me ;) |

I'm assuming I can make this but I have also never been to T3 at NRT:
Inbound flight: JL BKK - NRT, arriving at 07:15am. I am booked into C Outbound flight: GK (Jetstar Japan) NRT - TAK, departing at 08:50am. I will have a checked bag with me. Is this doable? |

If it is on one ticket, I would say that it is fine. On seperate ticekts, I would say it is a dubios connection and I would want more time between the two. |
I assume the bags will be tagged the whole way through but still have to be picked up post immigration and rechecked. On the return we fly into HAN (Domestic) at about 7.00pm for a few days in Tokyo but dont want to lug the 6 yo too far that night are there any good hotels in short range to HND? |

There are a couple of hotels in the airport, and a couple very close by. The Royal Park is connected to the International Terminal, and the Excel Tokyu is connected to the ANA domestic terminal. |
Thank you CPH very helpful.

Railway connections to Tokyo (Hamamatsuho or Shinagawa) take 20-25 minutes. Hotel rec. would depend on your budget and planned activities in Tokyo. |
If you need hotels in any price range, Booking.com and Agoda.com are both great websites to search on. I've used them in several countries, including for my upcoming trip to Japan (and past trips to South Korea, Scandinavia, and within the U.S.) and their advantage is that they include a full set of photographs and customer reviews, as well as full details about the rooms that are available.
So far, the properties have been exactly as depicted. |
Im sure mine will be straightforward but just to check.
