There isn't a CP in Dalian been building, I guess that was the reference for IC Dalian, with wrong brand.

CP Zhongguancun is in Beijing, which opened in Sep 08.

Xiaolan is CP Zhongshan Xiaolan, near Hong Kong area, opened in Oct 08.

They are two totally different hotels.

I noticed the company developing the Genova HI is also developing HI Milan North (Cinsello Balsamo). This is now added to the list too.

I assume the new Derby HI is in addition to the Riverlights property (still at foundation stage)?
Do you have any information on the Winchester HI? Is it a conversion of an existing hotel or new build?

Are you certain on this? Is this the fully official opening date? Any chance that they accepted bookings for a soft opening because I do have a confirmed reservation made through www.ichotelsgroup.com website for Dec 15 to 19. Haven't received any news that they wouldn't honor it.

Canadian update
 

Noticed that driving in the from airport last month. Should have posted. And HI King Street in Toronto is now officially a Hyatt. (HI in Victoria became an Executive Inn back in September.)

The IHG Q3 results today also revealed the number of hotels operating and in pipeline - now up to 4,108 hotels (608,225 rooms) and 1,773 pipeline (243,509 rooms).

WHy not as an IC?
 

Saw this news early today, they really should build an IC in that fantastic location, where Westin is nearby. Is 180 rooms too small for an IC?

What is the point to introcude more and more brands into a city where you've already built your reputation on existing IC/CP/HI brands? Very strange marketing strategy, but seems every hotel chain is adopting this.
