Royal Ambassador club offer: 100 Euro per room. A really nice breakfast, drinks, polite staff. Not the biggest evening spread :/
Indeed
Considering that I only drink diet coke and that evening spread is close to nothing, it makes my breakfast quite expensise (reason why I generally don't take the club option at Park Lane).

I´m not familiar with IC standards but watched the video out of curiosity and it looked very cramped small to be 70sqm?? Rather like my friends 40sqm double (though more elegant decor )

I think this is one of variations of One Bed Room Suite. Studio Suite is not separated by Bedroom and Living.

Nope that is a studio suite believe it or not. There are two types of studio, exec type rooms and this. I had this same room once last year, and it was definitely a "studio".

IC Singapore

What is your Priority Club status?
RA

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, as usual

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked deluxe, received Junior Suite plus Club

How are the rooms?
This is the L-shaped room, sometimes called Premier I think. Big, sofa and armchair plus circular dining table in the living area. Comfortable and well kept, but it's good to hear they're renovating the tower rooms. I understand the large corner unit (TV on top, minibar under) will be removed, which will give the impression of much more room.

How is the exec. lounge?
Excellent. This and IC Bangkok are my two favourites in Asia. Nice breakfast spread and evening snack selection. The staff all know me and it's great to see all the familiar faces. Drinks replenished quickly and with a nice smile and chat.

What was your welcome gift?
Stuffed lion to add to the collection
The usual bar voucher

Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes, banana, apples, grapes, pear, plus a plate of golden pineapple tarts

What was good?
Excellent RA treatment, lovely team in the Club, GM specifically came in to catch up

What was bad?
Nothing really, did notice some drilling noise but just as background noise (I was on 11th floor)

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Certainly on the corporate rate!

Would you return?
For work, yes. Privately probably venture elsewhere. It's not a leisure hotel IMO.

Intercontinental Moscow

Intercontinental Moscow

Sorry, mobile so can't post in standard format.

If you book the basic room, you get the Moscow Suite. If you book the "superior" room, you get the Pushkinskaya Suite, which has a huge living room, view of the Kremlin and a separate bedroom.

IC Chengdu Global Center

What is your Priority Club status?
Royal Amb.

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Just perfect; the IC's in China always are generous to me.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room (cheapest) upgrade to a nice suite in the closest wing to the club and swimming.

How are the rooms?
Modern standard. Mahjong table in the room is nice. big bathroom with bubble bath and so. large living area and large bedroom. both have a (free) mini bar ;-)

How is the exec. lounge?
Small for a hotel with 900+ rooms. But many come only for leisure so they won't go to the lounge. lounge is next to swimming pool. In evening they have good offer on snacks, but you can also pay for the big buffet which is just outside but do enjoy the free drinks from the lounge.

What was your welcome gift?
Some panda bear if i remember, and small other things for my son.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes full plate. every day new.

What was good?
Everything, generous in all ways. everything included what could be. The general manger was in the club for a short talk.

What was bad?
nothing

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
yes, nice rate was good.

Would you return?
Yes if there, but i have seen Chengdu and area now. so only business could bring me back or a night before leaving or arriving to china (direct KLM flights from Amsterdam).

What is your Priority Club status?
Royal Amb.

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Just perfect; everything just perfect. no remarks!

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room (cheapest) upgrade to a nice Pushkin suite of 90sq meters. This is 3x higher as their standard room.

How are the rooms?
Modern standard. Materials of best quality. The bed is a bit small as i'm very tall but still perfect. Large bathroom; love rainshowers.

How is the exec. lounge?
Good seperate lounge part and dining tables. Breakfast good large choice and what's not there they bring you. for dinner large with few warm dishes and GOOD quality cold dishes. LOVE the smoked salmon they have, best quality!

What was your welcome gift?
euhm, not actually looked. maybe didn't get? not sure. didn't ask too.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes full plate. Some nuts too and a bottle of wine.

What was good?
I not think of something that's not good.......so all good!

What was bad?
nothing; maybe the bed should be longer.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
yes, nice rate was good. but rouble is not worth much so any rate is good :-)

Would you return?
Yes if there, yearly.....for conference. will choose again.

Le Grand Paris

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, as always.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked classic award. Given junior suite with Club.

How are the rooms?
Same as always. This time as the hotel was full I was given a street facing room with a terrace. But I prefer the quiet inner rooms.

How is the mini-bar?
There seems to be more fruit drink options. Otherwise the same as always.

Did you receive fruit and water and gift?
Yes, there's a new design for the fruit bowl. The gift was a selection of historic postcards.

How is the exec. lounge?
More improvements with a much bigger evening spread and hot dishes. A very nice fish offering last night. They moved the drinks over to the credenza next to the welcome desk. So there's more space and more drinks. ^

What was good and what was bad?

GOOD
- Excellent treatment on an award stay with full RA benefits.

BAD
- Nothing

Value for € or IHG Rewards Club Points? Would you return?
Yes over and over again.

IC Toronto Yorkville

IC Toronto Yorkville

Note: I was just here couple of months ago but a little bit different experience and not as exciting. Might go again to Toronto Centre soon.

What is your IHG Rewards Club status?
Royal Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked 2 QUEEN BEDS SUPERIOR ROOM NONSMOKING and got 2 QUEEN BEDS STUDIO SUITE NONSMOKING.
Pretty much only option when you need two beds/4 people.

How are the rooms?
Its nice and spacious 494 sq ft. It has a couch and a coffee table. There are only 5 of this type of room and they are all facing the courtyard.

How is the Club Lounge?
N/A

What was your welcome gift?
Truffles, its getting boring!

How was the mini-bar?
Partially stacked, nothing really exciting.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes, one apple, one plum and strawberries with one water bottle!!

What was good and what was bad?
GOOD
- This is my 5th stay and they give you some bonus options... Such as 1000 points (sadly not qualifying), or 25% off drinks at the bar or 25% off drinks at the restaurant I think. Seems that this is the only IC that does this, that I know off...

BAD
- Asked for more water bottle but never got it. Though having access to the mini-bar helps we had 4 people and drink a lot of water so not enough!

Value for $ or Club Points?
It was good value especially when you split the rate 4 ways.

Would you return?
Yes
