Notification of Ambassador Status?
I registered for the complimentary ambassador promo, stayed the requisite number of nights in ICs, and all stays have posted to my PC account. How will I know I received Ambassador status- is their a designation in my profile on the PC website similar to the status level, will I get an email, or do I have to wait for the welcome package to arrive in the snail mail? Thanks

When you login to your account, on the page where it lists your past stays, it will give your status as 'Gold Ambassador'. If it still says 'Gold' then it hasn't kicked in for some reason.

What is your PC status?
If you are PC Platinum, then 13750 of the bonus would be your elite status bonus. You should also have gotten 3Kx4=12K as your bonus for each of three nights stayed under the promo which started on September 13th. That accounts for 25750 or your bonuses. The additional 3K I'm not sure about.
Did you sign up for any or all of these?
If you are just PC Gold, then your elite status bonus would only be 10% of your base points [2,750], and the rest of the bonuses would be from these other various promos, if you'd signed up for them.
It is a bit frustrating that PC doesn't break down all the bonus points.

OK thanks, I thought the bonuses were broken down when I did the similar promo last winter. I'm gold by the way, or at least I was when I started that stay.

Complimentary Ambassador
Hello all,
Is there currently any "stay 5 nights get complimentary Ambassador" promotion still running? I have by now virtually exhausted the promotions that I am eligible for (have not received a single 10k bonus in spite of 20+ nights
), so I consider signing up my girlfriend for our stay next week, if she becomes Ambassador in return

The last 2 stays have netted me an extra 65K points, that is besides my plat bonus. I have ordered 2 $50.00 dining certificates that are "on sale" for 18K rahter thab the usual 20K. They will make great Xmas gifts.

I've now completed the 15 nights required to jump all the various hurdles and (together with those I would have been 'entitled' to) have collected in excess of 100,000 BONUS points...FANTASTIC.

From your experience, does anyone know how the define the start and end date of those PC promotions in general? The 3000 points for every 3 nights ends Dec 17. Does that mean that my check out has to be on that date or can the check-in be on the 17th for one night and still count? How about check in on the 17th and stay for 2 nights? Would the whole stay count, only the first night or neither of those nights?
If there is no clear answer I won't risk it, but it would be nice because it's a Friday and I could take Mrs Sydfly on a small hotel run...

I have a few HI stays, but they didn't yield nearly the points I have seen been posted here!
