Credit where credit's due

Thanks to the information I have learned since I began lurking here this fall, I get to take my husband to stay at the New Orleans Crowne Plaza for a long weekend in March. Sufficient points have been earned so that the four nights will cost me nothing. On top of that the flight down is gratis as well. He is soooo impressed with my travel acumen. To be fair, I have given all of you credit.
Merry Christmas and thanks to all who make this forum so helpful to so many.

Anyone here shifting some business to HI properties in the first half of Jan, 2005 to take advantage of the 10K promos and lock in Platinum status for 2006?

I am thinking about it. After locking in PC Platinum for 2006, I will concentrate on HHonors and Starwood, then start burning some points towards the end of the year at Intercontinental properties!

I wish I had that many nights before the 15th of Jan, 2005, but I will be half way to my 2006 Platinum status before the promo ends.

Hi
After all the stays I have completed I have not had one of the 10k bonus points at all. I dont know if its worth while contacting PriorityClub and asking them about it.

Already have complaints in against at least 4 nights where I did not get any points for a 13 day stay but I did manage to get 10,000 points for on-line booking, made a mistake at time of booking and forgot to re-book a few of the days to single trips.

On the good side, I did manage to get the full 30k for the December promotion. Looking forward to the Jan 2005 promotion as I should be able to get my Platinum status for 2006 sooner than latter.

Anyway, some advice on the 10k thing and also thanks for the advice during 2004.

regards

This one's a bit limited, as it came with my Air Canada Aeroplan statement, but if it can help anyone........

"Between January 17 and April 30, 2005, earn double Aeroplan miles-1,000 miles in total-for every eligible stay at the InterContinental Hotels Group family of brands, starting with your second stay."

visit: www.priorityclub.com/double

Also available at their 1-888 560-5660, promo code is 1582.

Just went to the website to register myself for the promo, and a different bonus code came up (1557), but it took the registration okay for the double bonus miles. Also noted that it showed all the IC airline affiliations, so if you register online, it may work with the airline you've linked to your Priority Club membership, rather then just AC.

Re-registering for "Big Bonus Promotion"s

I had re-registered for all of the Big Bonus 10 g points for x nights, and it appears I am getting them all over again (at least one so far, no other nights have registered on my account since then), anyone else have this experience?

The promo says that - Bonus miles do not count toward AAdvantage elite status qualification.

does this mean that for the base miles earnt - ie. transferring 100k pc points for 25k airmiles - that these would count towards status?
