oh, that might be it. I did do a Virtuoso stay last April (in IC HK). Would that mean that any virtuouso stays count as corporate rates? or is it only for certain hotels?

Also, would it be possible to tell them that I don't have a corporate rate so that they change the target?

I am in the same situation. Over the summer, I had the same 4 stay with a corporate code element. I just went ahead and used 'the GE rate' code.

It was usually the same as the AAA rate, so it wasn't as tho I was costing them money. They never asked for documentation and the stays counted toward the challenge.

If they require a corporate code from non-corporate customers, it isn't my fault.

My stay in June showed up as One stay in the corporate rate section, so I would assume that any Virtuoso stay would count. I have seen a couple other reports of people with virtuoso stays having the corporate rate task.

Given IHG’s computer systems, I doubt that you will find anyone to remove those tasks. Most of the time, I struggle to find someone that even understands what I am talking about.

I think that I will start a separate thread on this.

This weekend I have a stay that would've have been perfect for this promo: two-night weekend stay, I could book via app.... But the hotel's rate is exorbitant, nearly $200/night in Nowheresville. Well, award nights are just 20k, so this trip I'm burning not earning.

Have just started my 2nd stay (1st from last week has posted already), ending Friday 28 - if nobody gets there first I'll post whether the 15k target is partially shown or else, around Oct 2 or so.

Did my second stay a couple of days ago and the points posted this morning (14559).

Not fully sure how they work it out but for a $55.14 spend, I got:

552 base points
14007 bonus points

Doesn't break it down further although it would have been 13400 points for second brand and booking through the app.
Seems to be 552 + 552 bonus points for the second stay + 55 points (10% gold bonus?) + 13400.

My welcome bonus points haven't appeared. Normally very quick when I stay in a HIX rather than a HI.

Does it look like your two stays for double points triggered a portion of your Complete X Tasks?

If you book two consecutive days at the same hotel into separate bookings, does the second night trigger the double points bonus?

No, consecutive bookings at the same hotel will likely be treated as one reservation.

If you go into where you track the status of tasks completed on the offer, does it show whether or not you've satisfied the "Earn up to 15,000 points starting with your second stay" task?

So do you actually you get 15000 bonus points after second stay or after second stay you get double points up to 15000? I will have two stays but I will not get more than 3000 base points( 1000 first stay and 2000 second stay) so would my bonus be 2000 or 15000? Trying to decide between IHG and Hilton not sure if for only 2000 bonus points I would choose IHG.For 15k bonus points yes.

Double points UP TO 15,000.

What we don't know for sure yet is if two stays will trigger the Achievement Bonus or if you need to get all 15,000 bonus points.

Your calculation seems right to me - and yes, the odd 55 points will be the 10% for gold.

It appears that partial completion of tge 15k double points does not preclude earnings on the other tasks.

Confused with my offer

Points Offer:

15,000 Double Your Stay Earn double points on every stay, starting with your second stay, up to 15,000 bonus points
22,400 Discover Our Brands Stay at 2 brands and get 22,400 bonus points
2,000 Stay Once Get 2,000 Bonus Points Complete 1 stay and earn 2,000 bonus points.
3,000 Stay Once Get 3,000 Bonus Points Complete 1 stay and earn 3,000 bonus points.
4,000 Stay 2 times and get 4,000 bonus points Complete two stays and earn 4,000 bonus points
5,000 Stay 2 times and get 5,000 bonus points Complete two stays and earn 5,000 bonus points.
6,000 Stay 2 times and get 6,000 bonus points Complete two stays and earn 6,000 bonus points
6,000 Stay 3 times and get 6,000 bonus points Complete three stays and earn 6,000 bonus points.
10,000 Stay 3 times and get 10,000 bonus points Complete three stays and earn 10,000 bonus points.

I'm confused with my offer.
Does this mean on my first stay I get 2,000 + 3,000 bonus points?
Then on my second stay at a different brand from the first, I get 22,400 + 4,000 + 5,000 + 6000 bonus points?
