This is the worst Accelerate I have ever seen. Will move all paid stays away from IHG until end of the year.

I mean, the bug is nothing new, it has been discussed on this subforum numerous times.

Some posters claimed to have had success with getting the points posted for those "hidden" offers via retro-credit. But IMO, if you're trying to get these points via a retro-credit claim, you're certainly pushing the envelope, possibly even putting your IHG account in danger.

Sergey, you are not alone. I am giving up on my Spire requalification and I have booked all my Q3 stays using points...

I have given myself 2 years waiting for IHG to come up with a better Spire Ambassador benefits and by now my patient had ran out. My last three stays in IC brands ended up in Club room without Club access which really made me going towards Hilton. Now this Q3 promotion just nailed it. I can live with devalution and deterioation PB prmotions. But I can no longer be truthful to IHG like I did for last decade.

If you book 2 months of award stays then you should be able to re-qualify.

I think if you stay at luxury hotels more often than e.g. HIX then IHG is not a programme for you. A lot of nicer CPs ICs are outside the US and lounge access is certainly a nice benefit to have.

IHG points are handy if you are in Japan though, good luck in finding a Hilton in small cities like Kumamoto (not that everyone goes there but if you do go then it's a nice place to use the points).

Would a stay checking in September 15 and checking out September 16 count for the purposes of this promotion?

I very much doubt this will be the case. I have an 8-day stay booked from December 14-22 and am by no means confident that it will go smoothly.

historically the night and stay on 15th to 16th September and 16/17 December did count for the promotion. But I would carefully divide the stay in order to avoid any confusion. And I avoid to stay at the beginning and the end of promotion just in case they change their rules.

The hidden offers for me are contradictory.

Stay Once Get 2,000 Points
Stay Once Get 3,000 Points

Stay 2 times and get 4,000 bonus points
Stay 2 times and get 5,000 bonus points
Stay 2 times and get 6,000 bonus points

Stay 3 times and get 6,000 bonus points
Stay 3 times and get 10,000 bonus points

I have no confidence that any of these would trigger in practice.

My offers:

30,000 - Double Your Stay
2,800 - Book 2 stays with the IHG App
Stay 7 nights and continue your Platinum Elite status for 2019

I racked up boatloads of IHG points during the last 3 years with Accelerate, but this past year I've been staying at Hilton brand hotels and some Wyndham brand hotels more. However, this Q3 promotion isn't that enticing to me, though I may just stay 7 nights to renew platinum status since I am 11 nights short from reaching that this year. Also, I received a IHG Gold Elite card for next year last just last month, so...yeah I want to keep Platinum Elite to get the extra 50% bonus points for each stay.

I already have some nights planned at several Holiday Inn Express, but I shifted a lot of my stays to Hampton Inns and HGIs for the next 4 months.
