I still haven't gotten my Ambassador pack from my renewal at the beginning of January. But did get an unexpected bump up to Royal Ambassador status a couple of weeks ago. I'm now assuming that this will add on another 5 months to my wait for getting my pack. *sigh*

I also got an unexpected bump to RA, to be honest I trade the pack for that if that are my choices.

My Spire Ambassador credentials are also nowhere to be found. I requested the kit to be retriggered which wasn't really addressed by the Philippines Ambassador center (yes they got one there now). I was given another 5k points (had gotten 15k before) so am content for another month or two. Will see what happens then.
Btw, my GF's Gold Ambassador kit took about 7-8 weeks to arrive in SIN.

Online code to replace weekend certificate
I think they should just send an email with a code for weekend certificate redemption.

With all the IT challenges that IHG usually has (think promotions tracking correctly) I doubt this would work quickly and smoothly.

Well, I can't see how it could be worse or more slow than the ridiculousness of the physical mail packets. I've wondered, for years, why they don't just automatically credit your account with the points and not send out a voucher at all.

I asked them the question why they simply couldn't credit my account with the points -
"Please be advised that the points for renewal is in voucher form and is system generated during the production of the portfolio. Hence, we are unable to deposit the points as we don not have a copy of the voucher codes."
It is an absolute farcical situation that they are not managing - any delay they should be sending out emails advising of delays and expected timelines.
1 Jan 16 for me and no sign!
