N/A, not offered

Good - professional staff; close to airport (free & punctual shuttle) and very easy access to downtown area (we were even given free bus tickets for the day); , warmly welcomed at 10:00am and had a room ready for us (we had not requested early check-in)
Bad - nothing really

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Very good value.

- Would you return?
Yes, definitely.

- What is your Priority Club status?
Gold (at that time)

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Not so much

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard room for 25K points, received same.

- How are the rooms?
Very cramped, tiny room with 2 Queen Beds (as requested), new - recently refurbished, clean, Uncomfortably small room (no real closet, have to hang things at an angle). Slippers, bathrobes.

- How is the exec. lounge?
N/A, not offered

- What was good and what was bad?
Good - clean rooms
Bad - front desk staff & concierge not up to standards (don't know the area), parking is very expensive, a bit of a trek to downtown area, the lobby bar is packed with smokers & some people of questionable career choices (or, as we called it, a full service hotel )

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
So-so value, not many other choices in Zurich.

- Would you return?
Probably not.

I'd recommend trying out the new Holiday Inn Zürich Messe @ 15K points. It just opened and looks nice. Good public transit connections

- What is your Priority Club status?
Gold Ambassador

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Very Much So

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard king for 5K pointbreaks. Received "upgraded" room. Not sure to what, but the room was nice.

- How are the rooms?
Fairly good size, recently updated. No complaints.

- How is the exec. lounge?

N/A, not offered

- What was good and what was bad?

Good - This hotel is amazing value right now. Until the end of March all stays get free breakfast. The breakfast isn't huge (Sausage, eggs, etc), but it is free even on pointsbreaks. As a gold, I was given an upgraded room and two drink certificates.
Bad - None.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Amazing value at 5K points.

- Would you return?

Without question.

Platinum

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Generally

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard room for 25K points x 3 nights, c, received same.

- How are the rooms?
Large room with 2 Queen Beds (as requested), clean, comfortable, modern. Hotel had construction on 2 sides of the property during our visit. Slippers, bathrobes***.

- How is the exec. lounge?
N/A, not offered

- What was good and what was bad?
Good - easy access to airports with a tube station just a few feet away; very courteous welcome at 11:00am with an offer to use the gym locker room to freshen up, but they seemed to struggle with which room to give us (darker one available now, brighter one available later, the hotel was nowhere close to full) (we had not requested early check-in)

Bad - heating not working at all in the room at check-in and they did not want to give us a different room, we should just sit there and wait while maintenance fixed it, left to get parts, finished fixing it; very generous gift of a small bottle of water (for 2 people to share over 3 nights :td:); had to request a 2nd bathrobe (2 guests on the reservation, 2 guests checked in in person) on 2 different days; try getting the gender correct on the bill!

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Good value, considering average hotel prices in London.

- Would you return?
Probably.

Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East

What is your status.
Plat

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

They didn't list a park/stay/fly rate online so I emailed several ihg airport hotels with my priority club number and asking "1/ what is your park/stay/fly rate? 2/ what is your upgrade policy". I received the replies back and they were as high as 189 at the CP to a low of $119 at the HI Toronto Airport East, both with parking upto 2 weeks, and both stated that ug's are based on availability. Both replies said if i'd like to book, just reply back. Ive stayed at the HI before and at $119 i'd be a fool not to take it. They booked me into the PSF rate (fully refundable) into a standard king. 2 days before I was to arrive I checked online and the res changed to a Business room.

How are the rooms?

Very big. Instead of a standard rectangular room it was just as wide as a standard room is deep , (hehe that's my drawn out way of saying square).
Recently refurbished. Nice bedding, mattress, chair. No wifi, but free wired internet.

How is the exec. lounge?
doesn't have one

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Great price, good upgrade, friendly check-in, acknowledged status by saying "we've got your PC number on file and you've been upgraded", they had no problem applying the remaining balance from my Stay Anywhere amex card. Perkins restaurant on site, I didn't eat there this time but it was good to have the option. Next morning when ready to head down for shuttle, as I waited they offered me free muffin and coffee by taking my invoice to Perkins. If you dont' have a laptop , they have 2 free in the lobby. Nice pool.

Bad:
none really. for the less mobile, the tower rooms are a bit of a walk from the lobby to get to the elevator, but the great room they offered was right off the elevator. i've read people stated before that it's in a crappy local. ha, it's an airport hotel.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Great value. Yes, I would definately use again. It's cheaper to get the PSF rate, then to get the standard 119.00 rate and have to pay for daily parking. Go figure.

Hi - london-kingston south

- What is your Priority Club status?
Platinum

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Double bed for 5K on Pointsbreak, on check-in was upgraded to King Executive without asking

- How are the rooms?
Medium-large room with 1 King Bed which was 2 beds pushed together, clean, modern decor, flat screen telly. Bright with a large window and balcony overlooking the River Thames. Door to balcony was locked and no key present. Complimentary water, soft drinks, chocolate as well as the usual tea and coffee. According to hotel website this is a new hotel.

- How is the exec. lounge?
Didn't have time to look for one if it existed

- What was good and what was bad?
Good - was on Points Break.

Bad - Telephons in room did not work and the hotel did not have my credit card details which attached to my PC membership. So after breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning she came back and demanded money. Told her to bog off and wait until l checked out.

- Value for £ or Priority Club Points?
Good value was on a Point Break for 5K

- Would you return?
Yes.
