I used to have one - does that count? . Seriously though, the code is probably for employees and not owners, I could be wrong.

Really... If you don't work there don't use them, since you're not allowed. That's all you need to know.

And if you still use them, do so at your own risk. We are just reading this thread for informational purposes .

as you know, here on FT many promo/corporate codes are used even if you're not entitled to..that's why i was asking if it was really dangerous (or not!) to use them (based on personal experience!)

Some have reported being asked for their company ID, and some have not. It's up to you to draw any conclusions.

SF Hyatt near Embarcadero

Hello All,

I need a good deal for the SF embarcadero location. I am a state employee, so a government rate could work. Right now, the Hyatt website is quoting me $350 for a Tuesday night in the middle of October WITH the government discount. Any leads would be much appreciated.

I was actually asked for proof of Costco membership when staying on a Costco rate last week.

It really seems that they've cracked down on their checks across the board.

I've yet to be checked on it. Of course I'm can use it and if checked ill have no issues, but out of ~40 stays, 26 of those this year I've yet to be checked. I've used it both in the US and internationally.
