I am sure if the hotel is ready to open by NYE, they would have done so. Look at Park Hyatt Los Cabos, how many time it has been delayed and had to cancel reservations?

The RC next door actually opened earlier than scheduled last year, just in time for the holidays.

Now taking reservations from 15 Jan 2026 onwards. Cat 5. Rates look to be around THB10k, which seems comparatively high.

Glad I booked PH for New Years early rather than waiting for this to open.

Not surprising. Below PH but above GH/HR. Also below RC, similar to StR (noting that Marriott shows all in rates, Hyatt does not).
Not much interest here. I'm sure the noise insulation will be lacking, just like all the other new build properties in the area. Room photos on website are minimal, but the look I do not find appealing.

This press release from today rather heavy-handedly announced the opening of the hotel... "this December 19th."
"Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced the opening of Andaz One Bangkok this December 19th, 2025" - yeesh.
Happy to see that it'll offer an Andaz Lounge with seemingly comprehensive offerings "open 24/7 to all in-house guests... with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks throughout the day and evening sunset cocktails."

Did a one night stay on points on the opening weekend and just wanted to share some thoughts. Can't post photos because I'm new on FT.
The hotel was not fully opened yet (no suites - Globalist upgrade to a "Boulevard view" room) and you could tell the occupation was minimal. All staff addressed me by name, which I imagine will be more difficult as it gets more busy. The staff was super friendly and outgoing. For breakfast the staff to guest ratio was 10 to 1, which resulted in great service. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and a-la carte. I personally enjoyed the breakfast and would rank it above GH/TheStandard and on-par with Park Hyatt in BKK. It's served on the lobby floor with a terrace with a great view of the lake and skyline.
The room was modern but warm and for me it works. The bed was super comfortable for my preference. Beautiful art in the room (and generally across the hotel). The room wasn't the biggest. The vibe of the hotel reminds me a bit of the Andaz in Xiamen with a little bit less Chinese influence. Minibar is free except for alcohol.
Personal highlights for me are the pool and gym/spa area. Had a great time there (granted I had it all to myself). The pool is quite large and has a great view for sunset.
There's a cocktail happy hour from 5-6 in the main lobby. There's some sort of daily color theme (?), with a different cocktail every day. There were also wines, Chang and some small bites available. Nothing special really.
The location: BTS station around the corner and a nice park right across the street. There's also the "One" mall which is huge and I got lost in it. There's a million food and shopping options in there, so nice place to spend some time.
Happy to answer any questions.
