Confusing e-mails?
I have a reservation for 2 rooms plus 1 guest of honor in October at HR Scottsdale Gainey Ranch. I yesterday received an e-mail, to "complete my booking", and a link to "we have other hotels in Phoenix", plus more.
No mention of being Globalist, and thanking for the reservation or something similar... Totally confused what this e-mail is about...
1) is my reservation not complete?
2) is the hotel oversold and they are trying to make other hotels appealing to me?
I wrote to the hotel and wonder what they'll come back with...
very weird....

Both UA and AS keep spamming me with "NYC is waiting for you" type emails if I do a search for airfares on their sites and then abandon the booking.
Maybe Hyatt is doing the same now, except that their crack team of developers couldn't figure out a way to determine that you actually completed a booking?

The hotel promptly got back to me, which was great. And confirmed, what I assumed... simply an ad, but not really very professional.
"Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the reservation. What you are seeing is just an ad, please discard and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused. With your reservation..... Please let me know if I may assist you with anything else. Have a wonderful day!"
