Maybe Hyatt is doing the same now, except that their crack team of developers couldn't figure out a way to determine that you actually completed a booking?
I concur with notquiteaff - I've had this happen a number of times in the last few weeks. I'm searching a particular hotel to see if a suite opens up for DSU, and they send am email to "complete my booking"... even though I already have a booking at that hotel on those days.
