Given that this is an internal code used to rank incoming and in-house guests, I do not think you will find too many properties willing to tell you your ranking or the system they use to figure such (other than the general comments made here).

Seriously, how could the experience be different at any Hyatt whether you're a 1 or a 9 once you've been assigned your room? I'm not asking sarcastically since several posters have stated there is a VIP code, I'm just curious why and what difference it makes.

But your comment is nonetheless valid. For example, if one is unhappy with their room assignment, the VIP code could definitely make a difference in where they were switched to.

Sure, I'm just sayin' the President of the United States should have to earn Hyatt status like anyone else. As if the guy (regardless of who it may be at any given time) doesn't have enough entitlement issues already, sheesh!
