The hotel provides its own express shuttle service from HKG Arrivals. A very luxurious motor coach. Look for the Hyatt-branded booth across the lobby from Customs & Immigration exit and banking services. Separate charge. Per email correspondence on 7/11/19, this service is no longer offered by the hotel. Two alternatives are:
Hotel Limousine/MPV: HK$1150 per trip per car (Mercedes S-320) or 6-person MPV for HKD$1400
Airport shuttle service (3rd party): ''Vigor Airport Shuttle Service Limited'' located at Arrival Hall B-01. Take shuttle to Harbour View International Hotel (next door to GH). HK$140 per person per trip. This is no longer affiliated with the hotel, so tickets must be purchased directly from the vendor.

Diamond benefits as of 4 Sep 2016
  • Complementary Continental Breakfast (in lounge) 7AM 10:30AM Monday Friday & 7AM 11AM (Weekends & Public Holidays)
  • Diamond buffet breakfast also available in Grand Cafe
  • Complimentary Evening Cocktails - 5:30PM 7:30PM
  • All day complimentary tea, coffee, refreshments, and limited alcoholic beverages (not sure if this is in room or in lounge as lounge hours are 7AM midnight)
  • Complimentary 3 pieces laundry per day (standard service; not cumulative) for guests staying in a suite (not limited to Diamonds).
  • Grand Club meeting room 1 hour/day.

Breakfast, not brunch itself would be a Diamond amenity.

Good point -- does anyone have any experience here or elsewhere with trying to use the Diamond breakfast for a brunch instead. I'll be at the Park Hyatt DC soon, and they have a fabulous restaurant that does a weekend brunch we'd like to try. We'd love to sleep in late and do brunch rather than breakfast. Anyone have any guesses (or actual knowledge) about our chances?

That's a good question that I don't have the answer to. Definitely states "breakfast" as the benefit and I believe it's from 7-11am on Sunday, so I'm not sure how it works timing-wise.

Also, is your guest staying with you at the hotel? There are also rules that state the breakfast benefit is only for whomever is staying with the diamond guest, and that it's ~$50 for additional diners.

Based on my experience your chances are slim to none..... And it's also something you shouldn't be really expecting, free breakfast is just that.

Thanks. Yes, she is staying with me at the hotel.

I'll give it a try; worst that happens is we go back upstairs

Renovation Progress

Does anyone know the renovation progress of the hotel? Are the Grand & harbor suites all renovated now? How about the regular rooms?

Does Club Lounge access allow the option of breakfast in the restaurant or only in the lounge?

Back in November, Diamonds could get a full breakfast buffet at Tiffin.

Diamonds can choose. But that's a different issue.

Club access is club access. Why do you think it would include a restaurant breakfast? You're buying access to the club.

Some hotels do allow club guests to have breakfast in the restaurant, but from my experience, those hotels usually don't have "free club access" as in Diamond in the Hyatt case here.

Some hotels provide this flexibility IME to Club guests, irrespective of status.

A simple yes or no would have been fine.

I've never had that experience (which is why I asked "why" though it could admittedly have been phrased more courteously). I know there are properties in Hong Kong (including this one and the Conrad) that give elites the choice of breakfast in the lounge or the restaurant, but that's different than giving a breakfast based on a room rate which includes club access. Places I've stayed you're then limited to the club breakfast. I don't have a specific experience at this property, because I've only stayed as a Diamond.
