I just noticed the same thing. I was expecting to see a charge for Tip from breakfast, but none appeared. This was at the HR Huntington Beach. I quite enjoy this property, and was pleasantly surprised. Just another reason to stay here again.

I don't tip when receiving my diamond breakfast. No discussion about that. An amenity (bonus) for the customer should not come with the obligation to provide tips for the staff.
If I visit the hotel restaurant for regular consumption and I have to pay, of course I will leave 10% as a tip. Everything beyond that is excessive.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; DROID RAZR 4G Build/6.7.2-180_DHD-16_M4-31) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)
I am pretty sure the terms and conditions explicitly state the tip is included.

Clearly you must need the money more than the person making $2/hr plus tips.
Edit: you should watch the scene from Resevoir Dogs. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=Z-qV9...%3DZ-qV9wVGb38

I asked the question of my server at the HR Orange County and they said that they do get a tip from each Diamond breakfast. However, it may not be 15%. I usually write "Diamond Breakfast" in the tip line. It may make me look smug, but I don't think I should have to provide an extra tip for something that is supposedly already covered.
