Can we please not remove promos until they are over > 1 month, to allow people chasing points etc easy access.

It’s kind of bounced around but I’d say -

2,000ish points either for initial promo stay or for every 2 nights.

2x/3x points promos

Points Rebates

Certain Brands running double EQN’s (Unbound 2019 was the pre-COVID one).

I would say these are the main Hyatt-wide promos that have run. But who knows what 2023 holds.

The most famous Hyatt Promo was Faster Free Nights, which we are unlikely to ever see again. Two eligible stays paid with Mastercard earned one free FFN.

I believe it ran annually from 2005 to 2010. Incredibly the only properties excluded from redemption were the Manchester Hyatt in San Diego, CA USA and the Hyatt Regency Madeleine in Paris, France as well as the former Great Eastern in London.

I would say the most infamous promo was the targeted one for 2021. That was just a really terrible strategy as they literally left many many people with no promo at all.

Meanwhile others got -

5 Nights earned 10k points

5 Nights earned 12k points

10 Nights earned 30k points

Also it was announced last minute only to those select groups of targeted people, mainly non-60+ night Globalists.

What promo is that? It may be crappy but if it’s currently running that’d help.

Many people in this forum are 60+ night Globalists or LTG’s which were not targeted. Mainly saying that they opted to give 60+ night Globs nothing during that promo period, but many Glob Lites reported being targeted, along with other people.

One example -

I’m a 60+ night Globalist and got no promo at all for Q4 2021.

Family Member was a 0 Night Explorist (MGM match) they received the 5 Night for 10k offer.

Just that a lot of Globalists felt shafted during that promo.

Ah this promotion -

World of Hyatt is offering a special bonus for cardholders: register between December 1, 2022 and January 2, 2023 and earn 1,000 bonus points for every eligible stay of at least 2 or more consecutive nights at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels.”

Well first it’s only for 1 month, second it’s only for Cardholders and third it’s only at HP and HH.

Very small group able to participate compared to overall WOH Members.

Do you have a registration link? I cannot find it at the Hyatt web site and Google says it cannot find the phrase you quoted.

Many thanks, SanDiego1K. Along the lines of teaching someone to fish rather than providing a fish, can you tell me how I should have found that for myself?

For the benefit of anyone else looking for this promotion, the displayed text of the link is correct, but the underlying URL was malformed (with the word Cardmembers appended). Here is the correct link.

As noted by SanDiego1K, it's actually for just over two months.

Truthfully, I did what you did. I cut the quote down to "earn 1,000 bonus points for every eligible stay of at least 2 or more consecutive nights at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels.”. First hit was a blog post from Frequent Miler. Second hit was a blog post from View from the Wing. Third hit was the official Hyatt one that I posted above. (Thanks for correcting the link.)
