I just re-check. The only available date is 11/8-11/11 with $49.95 per night and 3rd night free.
Please note "•Third night FREE - Complimentary night applied at check-out".

So getting planet hollywood for $29/night isn't typical, without gambling anyways.
I have also got quite a few mailers from PH for free rooms and comps. i actually used NYNY and PH for the same night stayed at the best one and got the free play from the other.
It just sounded wierd to get 29$ offers from not gambling...sorry
Are the rooms at NYNY nice? i don't care for the casino that much. Thanks,

The webpage is not allowing a redirect so you may need to try placing the url in your browser since it's an https. Try putting https://www. before beconnectedonline... to get to the reservation page. The offer is still active. I broke it up below. Just take out the space between www. bconn

https://www. bconnectedonline.com/resnetf.php?GCP09SUM
This deal works with the Orleans too -although anyone who has a bconnected account will probably get 2 nights free anyway

http://www.elabs7.com/functions/mess...uid=f83cd89615 links to the official Tropicana page, and states that the rooms are 50$ and you get $50 FREE SLOT PLAY in "SLOT BONUS BUCKS".... anybody knows what are these Bonus Bucks...
in any case this is super deal, as it seems that all the nights are $50... even the always expensive Christmas nights

Not 100% sure, but I think the slot plays are for a special bank of machines where you only win $$ for getting the jackpot.

Nope.

I've only stayed there once, but I don't plan on going back. The first room they put me in was very outdated, and definitely could have been cleaner. I went to the front desk and spoke with them about it; they moved me to a room that was nicer, but then I had to deal with the rollercoaster... Wouldn't have been a problem if I was there on vacation, but I was there for work and was planning on getting up at 5am, so the rollercoaster full of screaming people going past my window until midnight was not that nice...

When to book?

Going to Las Vegas in mid May. Do the deals get better closer to the date, or should I go ahead and snag a deal I may find right now.
Thanks,
Jan

Thats a tough one Jan. For flights I would say the further out you book the better. I used to say the same thing for the hotels, but with the economy the way it has been these hotels seem to just keep the deals coming. I would suggest choosing your top 2-3 hotels that you would like to stay at and monitor the deals starting now until you find a deal your happy with.

Enjoy!
James
