HKD 200 Range Buffets
So not exactly the Harbourside or anything fancy. Okay with both weekday and weekends. Does not have to be regular price, opened to suggestions that involves Groupon deals, HSBC credit cards, or promotions that's not too restricted. Bonus if there's senior discounts and if its location have free parking after $X spent, but not necessary. Will not be on any big holidays (Mothers, Fathers day)
Around $200 for lunch, or $300 for dinner, or less for semi-buffets. I recall Royal View Hotel at Ma Ding was around that price range, but was not impressed with its offering. Looking at BeeCrazy, I see a few:
$249 + $48 for dinner at Mini Cart Caf和藏

$229 + $31 + surchage for dinner at Novotel TST

$292 + $48 for dinner at Novotel Wan Chai

$228 + $36.8 (+$30 weekends) at Stanford Hillview TST

$108 + $11 (+$27 weekends) for Thai / Semi-Buffet at Dorsett MK

I recommend the weekend brunch at Morihachi Yakiniku. I am a huge fan of this buffet. Quality is decent and has freeflow of drinks too. Normal price is over $300HKD, but Groupon brings it down just under $200HKD. Note - this does not include a service charge. http://www.groupon.hk/deals/hong-kon...ffet/721260395 Also, note valid locations from the Groupon - it's not all the locations.

Wow, I've always paid full price at hotel (Royal Plaza, Royal Park, Langham Place, Crowne Plaza) lunch and dinner buffet's costing HK$200+ and HK$400+ PAX that's including hotel guest and/or senior discount.
Thanks for the info - I must try one or two of these out the next time I'm in HK.

Thanks. With elders in mind, I think they may prefer one of the more "traditional" buffets as opposed to Japanese. But that one does look good and I'll keep it in mind for future visits!
You meant Metro Park at $188? How as the food?

For your price range, I recommend lunch (not dinner) and Kowloon side.
Cordis (formerly Langham Place) has decent lunch buffet for slightly more than $200.
Cafe on M at Grand Stanford IC is very good and frequently has discount offered for lunch buffet through either Openrice or their own website... it'll still end up being >$200 even with coupon, but it's a very nice buffet.

I've been going to the Salisbury YMCA hotel buffet (right next to the Peninsula Hotel) for years and have never been disappointed. Lunch ranges from $HK160-188 and dinner $HK298-328.

They also have a nice cafe in the lobby if you're dying for a good hamburger.
