I've been going to the Salisbury YMCA hotel buffet (right next to the Peninsula Hotel) for years and have never been disappointed. Lunch ranges from $HK160-188 and dinner $HK298-328.

They also have a nice cafe in the lobby if you're dying for a good hamburger.
