I think the innuendo said it all, but you can google away if you're still not clear. I wouldn't worry: pretty sure it's not something you're actually looking for.

If all you are planning to do is go to the hotel and stay in the hotel then the W. Quicker and easier to get to.

If you want to drop bags at the hotel then see some nightlife (whether Lan Kwai Fong or Wan Chai) then the Conrad is the best option

Ok thanks.

I would like to get out and experience something of Hong Kong even if it is short.....

Will I be able to go to a tailor for a custom shirt or do they all close early?

Anything that takes less than 1 fitting isn't worth buying

Ha....your right.

Anything you could suggest we should do in that time frame or drinks/food is all that we can do?

With a 9pm arrival you are unlikely to be at your hotel before 10.30pm so food / drinks / a walk are probably your only options. Shops generally close at 10pm.

Your dining options are likely to be limited to since many restaurants will do last food orders at 10.30 or 11pm though there will be some exceptions.

Drinking is another matter and you will be able to drink until the time you need to leave for the airport the next day.

Your basic options are

Lan Kwai Fong / Wyndham Street / Hollywood Road - more upmarket area
SoHo (South of Hollywood Road) - Staunton Street - are of bars and restaurants.
Wan Chai - more "earthy" Mix of normal bars, disco bars and 'girlie' bars

For a view of bars and restaurants around Lan Kwai Fong (approx. 15 mins by taxi from the Conrad) http://www.ilovelkf.hk/

some clothing shops behind the SOGO complex in Causeway Bay shut close to midnight... if that's what you want (along Lockhart Road near SOGO department store)

otherwise, it's food drinks bar or the "things" between 2300 and 0900.

a few dim sum places open at 5am - Lin Heung Tea House and Luk Yu Tea House to boot.

I'd say Conrad, it wont take more than 30 minutes from Conrad to HK Station by cab. (ask the hotel when you leave. 30 minutes is terribly overestimated, it should take only 15. If they found traffic is terrible, take the MTR from the complex under Conrad to HK Station - assuming you will only have minimal luggage since you could tag thru your bags.)

20 minutes is entirely doable. But after you get to Chater Rd, take the pedestrian tunnel towards the old Star Ferry. Either walk along the General Post Office and then cross the street or go up the escalators of the post office and cross to the ifc using the bridge. Fewer crowds and shorter walk.
