It's been a year since I was there, but if anyone wants information from me (re drive, stay etc) PM me. I don't often check this thread. I'm embarrassed that someone ask a question about my post in March and I didn't reply.
Yes, there is a trip to a "real" long house, but it's a tourist thing. WE got in a traditional boat, motored for about 20 minutes, arrived, had a tour and then several superannuated folks did a traditional dance for us, posed for pictures and we went back. I'm glad I did it, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it unless one's expectations were low.

Well, it's a longhouse that hosts visitors (probably about 5 a day), and the residents make art to sell, but I wouldn't necessary say it's a "tourist longhouse." I certainly wouldn't have wanted a more "authentic" experience. Drinking too much rice wine with the chief and his friends was authentic enough for me! And waaay too authentic for my kids, who basically thought, somewhat correctly, that the longhouse was a bit dumpy.

I just looked at this as a possibility for a stay next year but it seems that they're not taking reservations for 2016. Is this confirmed to be leaving the portfolio?
