When I recently stayed there, 31st floor lounge was still undergoing renovation. 4th floor was fine. No pool-related issues. Food/snacks/drinks were fine when I happened to be around during those time periods. Always take breakfast at Oscar's anyway. If you come to Singapore for the hotel lounge(s), you're doing it wrong.

Thanks for the review lctkw. I booked a stay in a standard room on points and frankly the fourth floor lounge doesn't look so awful that I'm inclined as a diamond to try to upgrade to a room that allows 31st floor lounge access, whenever they figure out exactly what that means. I can see how people who are used to the 31st floor would be disappointed in the lounge devaluation, but for 45,000 points a night with breakfast at the regular buffet as a diamond I think the 4th floor lounge looks fine for a quick bite or drink.

I have just wrapped up a 3 night stay here. For the most part, I really enjoyed the newly renovated suite. It is an improvement from the mock-up suite they have on the 6th floor, but it is really annoying that the designer went for the look and not function. The long sofa, as stylish as it looks, is as uncomfortable as it looks. The wooden frame ottoman would slide down every time I try to lounge, the bolster back-support does everything but. I appreciate the welcome amenity (fruits, cookies and box of chocolate). Much nicer than a just a bowl of fruit at JW Marriott as a Platinum.

The 4F lounge is, adequate. Zero ambience, but in the morning it is really nice and quiet compared to the zoo that is Oscar's.

Overall I had a pleasant stay and would return.

Will be there this weekend for 2 nights.
Booked a Deluxe room.
Shall see what happens.
For context, I (like to) think I am a regular there with 3-5 stays each year.
Lets see what happens when I am there.
My last stay there this year we were upgraded to Executive.
The Club lounge was not ready then.

You didn't have access to the "Club" Lounge on the 31st floor even when in a Suite?

Since the suite was an upgrade, I thought as a DIA i only got 4F access. At checkin I was told 4F only and I didnt bother pressing.

By the way, since when did Conrad Spore get rid of their premium wifi option? When I was there a few months ago, there was still a premium choice when logging in the first time.

I'm looking for a stay in june, but its more like 100,000+ points per night. How did you find anything for 45,000? What dates ?

The month of June is school holiday time for all of Singapore (and most of SE Asia), and many locals go to the hotels for staycations, especially on the weekends. I've found all the tourist sites to be packed daily from June 1-June 30 in Singapore, too.

Bummer - we are there between the 15th and 21st June . Sounds like it we picked the best time to go

Completely depends on what you are looking for. I'd say MBS is a more unique experience, especially if you try out the rooftop infinity pool, want easy access to the casino etc. The Conrad has been nice enough in the past, and is probably less expensive. It's also much smaller and less chaotic, which is a benefit of a kind.

I have to say, I'd go for the Fullerton at that price. Virtuoso rates get you lounge access and it's a beautiful historic place.
All reports from the MBS have been underwhelming but I have not stayed there myself.

dont bother. Unless you want to experience it.

They are are a real stickler for check in and check out times. Don’t think about getting early check in, hell you might not even check in on time due to the large crowd checking in. They don’t allow late check outs either. Their front desk will start calling the room 15min to 20min prior to check out time.

The infinity pool is very seldom empty and peaceful.
