1. Switch to points and points
2. Get a HH Amex. 5 points per $ spent at Hilton properties. 20,000 bonus points for signing up and staying 4 times. 500 per stay for booking online.

With your HH AMEX card, you can earn a minimum of 21 points per folio $ spent at Hiltons (22.5 points per $ if you are Gold, 25 points per $ if you are diamond)

175,000 points gets you 6 free nights at a category 6 hotel. It takes $8,333 of spending at Hiltons (assuming 55 nights at $150/night and 21 points per dollar). Assuming that a Cat 6 is $300 per night, this is a yield of $0.21 reward per $ spent.

This is probably overstated a tiny bit, but you get the idea. I do 100+ nights/year on the road. Even if I did a conservative 20 nights a year, I would earn a week in Hawaii every three years.

Oh...currently 284,000 Hilton points... Stayed at the W=A twice this year, once in a cat 6 in Boston this year, once in Savannah and Miami... All compliments of HHonors...

Hard to believe I know but I was the proud owner of exactly 1 point at the end of May - I blew the rest beating the points price rise

Had 506,000 or so until today, but just cashed in 175,000 for Los Cabos at the end of July.. Also used 125,000 for Whistler in Feb. So down to a measley 331,000. The HH Amex will move me back up quickly though!

565,000

Currently at 565,000. Lately I seem to keep burning SPG Points and Marriott Reward Points while the Hilton Points just keep slowly piling up.

I just switched in 05

175,000 banked now using fixed miles and HH points, but I just switched from Intercontinental in early 2005.

A hair over 500K here. I make it a point to save roughly enough UA and HH to support a month RTW.

Yes... I'd need some point stretching, but that's what the RTW is for!

Have about 2.6 Million points currently. Just used 12 certs in Sorrento, Rome and Paris. Accumulated in the last 2 years from 5/10/15 promos. Yeah, I guess I'm a "Hilton Guy".

little over 400k
1 free night cert left.

I am keeping little over 400k right now. I try to stay in the range between 200 and 400k so I can do that special tripp whenever I want to. But I try to spend as least as much as I earn now.
