I posted this in the AmEx forum as well. Use an enrolled AmEx through Tripadvisor and get $50 off a $250 stay.

I do not think business cards will cut it. Needs to be I think a proper plastic badges with photo and either a mag-stripe or an embedded chip

Since each UK city, town, county, area in UK is non-profit goverment organisation, with own " ID badge " / " Building entry passes" Hilton hotels will have no idea if ID is real or not (unless from local area). as such I might get a couple made up next time I go to say Thailand, especially if PR13CB is disappearing but PR11PN stays.

Alas, as an IT contractor, for a profit making company even when assigned to and working for a Government dept, PR11PN's t+c's seem to exclude me , plus my ID badge is that of a placement company.

I suspect a business card might cut it unless they are being very picky.

Particularly on a weekend stay, will many people remember to bring their proper internal ID/security card with them when they have no (obvious) need for it. I know I wouldn't think of taking it.

May be wrong though

If your public sector in the UK sign up to the blue light card, it gives you direct access to the discount page.

Question Hilton Ballpark (ST Louis, MO) - Mid week Reservation

I'm trying to find a decent code for one night in August at the Hilton Ballpark. I'm not finding anything that will provide more than about 5% and my company corporate code will not work on an odd Wednesday night. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi, I am looking for a discount code for Hilton hotels in Sydney and Melbourne. I can only find 10% discount code in this thread. Is that the best we can get? Thanks!

I would be very surprised if you could find better. Seems like SYD/MEL both don't suffer from occupancy shortages. I'll be in both places early next year, best I could manage was $240USD per night.

Keep checking, you never know when prices may drop, even if just for one day. Have you tried using the MVP booking site/portal:

Looking at the Hilton Sa Torre Resort in Mallorca this upcoming weekend, and no rates kick in a discount (MVP/Team USA/Public Sector/PR09PN).
Any good discount code for this resort?

Those codes are controlled by the hotel's capacity on any given night (or expected capacity generated by a computer program) so the answer is most likely No.

If I use MVP code 0560041604 will I have to show any type ID or is it valid for most people? Looking to use it in NYC and the rate looks to work for my travel dates. Assuming it books I'm good?
