I'm sitting at 20 hours from BRG submission and no response. Is it a true 24-hour response time, or by COB next day? The rate I'm requesting matched is holding both on SLSLasVegas.com and LasVegas.com, so I'm not sure what basis they would have to deny it.
Same thing for me IsleOfMan, I am 48 hours into a hilton.com booking @ SLS and the deposit hasn't hit my card. Curious if you ever saw yours?

I saw the SLSLasVegas.com deposit hit about 4 days after making the res, and it was then refunded about 4 days after canceling by phone (after doing the BRG to get the price matched on a Hilton.com res). A deposit for the Hilton.com res has yet to hit 6 days later.

You can snag a Story Superior King or Double for 22,800 points a night the last week of October if anyone is interested. I was just curious to see what it was myself.

I wonder if that's the Premium Room Points Pricing actually yielding a MORE favorable rate for once?

Question Any actual trip reports?

So, has any FT member stayed at SLS Las Vegas? It would be great to hear an actual report on how HHonors elite members are treated.

I made a booking on hhonors.com and then also found the better rate at slslasvegas.com (& lasvegas.com), and then got the following reply to my best rate claim:

The Terms and Conditions of Our Best Rates Guaranteed program states:
You must find a lower publicly available rate (“Lower Rate”) on a non-Hilton Worldwide booking channel (except for "opaque" websites) for the Same Accommodations. "Same Accommodations" means the same room type, at the same hotel, with the same dates and length of stay, same number of guests same designation as either cancellable or non-cancellable, same advance purchase policies, and the same terms and conditions governing the room rate.
I regret to inform you that we are unable to approve this claim due the above policy. However, I have adjusted your reservation to the BE Legendary discount rate of $85.50 plus tax.

I fail to see where the rate didn't live up to these t&c's, can any one please clarify for me if I missed/missunderstod something of if they just don't want to pay up?

With the specific information you provided (none other than the booking channels), no one will be able to answer your question as to whether your claim was in accordance to the T&Cs.

Same. You have to check the promotion and special box and it shows up. It is call "BE LEGENDARY", and I have no idea how it is different than the normal rate. It doesn't seem to be advance booking since it could be cancelled 2 days before arrival.

This is for Story Superior King. It is actually $0.50 cheaper than lasvegas.com

The Be Legendary rate is the exact one I was able to get a BRG claim approved for. There is a difference in the cancellation period (2 days w/ HHonors, 3pm day of with SLSLasVegas.com), but since it's the competing rate with the more liberal cancellation window, I would think they would honor it. I would press them for a clarification and to honor the $50 AMEX offer in addition to matching the competing rate.

Thanks a lot everyone, has been really helpfull!
I didn't expect a better rate than best available rate under the packages. I'm guessing when they honored the best rate guarantee for IsleOfMan the rate wasn't on hhonors.com?
