Same for me... had to run it through the missing stay request process but got full credit (including promos) after that. I won't be returning either... it's either Elara or the north end HGVCs for me from now on.

I would be happy to help you with this! I'm going to reach out to my team today and will share any updates I'm provided via PM.
Cheers,

Stayed at the SLS Las Vegas for one night and probably won't be back. I booked a suite, and it was the smallest suite I have ever seen. I would hate to see how small the regular rooms are. I arrived late and left early, so I did not experience much of the rest of the hotel other than the room. Resort fee seems like a rip-off, but that is Vegas...
At check-in, I did not receive the breakfast voucher others have mentioned based on me being a diamond. They did not recognize my status at all, other than two bottles of water.
Also, points still have not posted after 1 week. This seems like a trend here. Overall, next time I'm in Vegas, I'll probably go back to the Tropicana or HGVC Elara.

Well just this one page of complaints sealed the deal for me. Was going to stay there for a work event in Vegas but now I'm definitely going to cancel and stay at the Elara.

Elara is fine. Avoid the SLS Las Vegas and the Tropicana. Hilton needs to keep these properties up to Hilton minimum standards. The SLS sounds like it is in trouble. The only one doing well with the property reopening so far is the Monorail. Last quarter ridership is up around 20%.

SLS needs a rep on this thread to address these issues the way we had Nicole on the Trop thread when it first opened.

If you have a reason to spend much of your time at the north end of the strip anyway, I would consider either of the HGVC properties (Strip and Convention Center) which are (usually) priced ~1/2 that of Elara. If you want to spend most of your time south-strip then go for Elara and pay the premium. If you like center strip I would consider Flamingo HGVC, but it's not my favorite (no major detractions, just a bit dated and a long walk through/around Flamingo to get back to the strip).

The reason why I was staying that was because I wanted to stay in a curio collection hotel and this was my first opportunity. The work event I'm attending is actually at Mandalay Bay CC so this would be super inconvenient, but would be worth it if they treated HHonors Elite guests properly. Since they don't, and neither does the Trop (and I want my points) Elara it is...which is way more convenient anyway.

I was in the same boat for my stay (wanting to test out he Curio Collection) but at least it was convenient to my convention at the Renaissance (back behind the Riviera). Live and learn...

I'd suggest reaching out to Erin (HHonorsRepresentative) on here via PM when she comes back on Monday. She's been very helpful to others in quickly getting situations like this resolved.

I asked for a supervisor because that didn't make any sense and was finally told that the rate does include hhonors points.
(Of course I since read this thread and then switched to the Elara).
It seems as though reservations probably doesn't know what rates that don't come from Hilton.com directly (i.e. most corporate travelers) qualify for points and thus don't post them to the hhonors account.

Like everybody else, I did NOT get my points. I contacted Erin here in the forum, and my points were posted the next day

What is it with the SLS Las Vegas and Tropicana LAS posting points and giving "elites" the benefits they earned. Either they want to be part of the "Hilton" Brand or not. Members should not have to continue to follow up to see if they are being treated properly. Hilton needs to contact these hotels and make sure they follow the guidelines Hilton puts out or they are gone. Perhaps it's something in the LAS water?
I visited the SLS LAS last week and did not see one sign mentioning Hilton. I did not stay, just a short visit. The Trop - a few months ago did have Hilton signs, but I refuse to visit that place again. There are just to many nice places to stay in LAS. These two properties are much less desirable and need to step up their game.
The casino at SLS LAS is nice, but empty on my visit (a Sunday afternoon).
