T1 Upgrade Selection had an Alfa Sedan, Alfa SUV and two Audi A5.
T3 wasn't much better with just a mix of small SUVs and a Pacifica. There was a Volvo station wagon however someone was just driving off in it. Later a Dodge Challenger showed up. Quite the lineup to exit about 6 or 7 cars deep.
Just a quick reminder that you can earn 2000 United Miles for Hertz rentals of 2 days or more when booking thru the United site. More details in this flyertalk thread here

What is up with all the base model pickup trucks. Who wants those? Is this really the best Hertz can do for their best customers on a Friday?
Other than one SUV T3 only had pickup trucks and midsize cars available. And presidents circle guarantees one upgrade category from midsize so there should never be Corollas in the isle.
Avis has started their version of choose our exchange your own car at YYZ. Will be interesting to watch how they implement it.

Where are those Full Size Sedans at YYZ?
I only spot Altima couple of times or even a 2017 camry
Challengers gone, few Chargers, few Malibus
One rep told me they did purchase some 2018 camrys and they are still on the way 😂😂😂 (delayed)
Btw, I guess they try to push customers purchasing LDW for pick up trucks since they are not covered by most major credit cards.

Talked to a manager at T3 and he was very nice. Walked around the garage with me looking for anything else they might have like a full size sedan. Best he could find was one Toyota Camry.
Apparently all of the Chargers, Challengers, 300s, Impalas have gone back and they are waiting for the new fleet to arrive in December. That explains why the isle has been such a disappointment lately.
I politely declined the Camry as the choice over at National was between a new Jeep Wrangler JL, 300s, new Chargers, new Edge, Explorer limited, a couple Tahoe and Infinity QX60 and a bunch of the other usual SUV suspects. I've never seen national so jammed packed with cars overflowing.
After going back to T1 I noticed over at Hertz someone was driving away from the presidents circle isle in a Volvo S90.
