Haven't heard of this being a booking problem, just a check-in problem -- which can be "solved" by eliminating your precheck.

As of today, a full 3 days after the site "maintenance" performed early Tuesday morning, my birthday --and a lot of other people's, apparently-- is still off by a day on the main site in my profile. I was able to use the app and take advantage of the 50 percent off promotion and book for next month with no hiccups. My confirmation number and flight details are correct in my profile, but the point is that Frontier knows there is a problem but they keep not "seeing" it. At this point, it almost feels deliberate.
As a data point, when using my old fashioned mainframe computer, there are dates on the calendar where it says there is mileage award availability. But when you click on the specific date, there is nothing available. And when trying to book a flight at the end of a long holiday weekend, it says there is just 22,500 mile one way availability, which suggests it's the last seat on the plane. But changing the number of passengers to 9, just for the hell of it, shows the same 22,500 mile award redemptions. Unless these are the "last 9 seats on the plane", which is not what Last Seat Availability means as far as I know, this is just another goof on the website.
I have always been happy with Frontier's flights, and I love being Elite with the huge help of their credit card. But this technical incompetence is really hard to stomach. Are castoffs from Southwest and Jetblue IT departments now running the show at Frontier?

Their reservation systems sometimes could not even reserve flights, they have my money stuck as un-usable credit shell twice already.
Though, I don't think it's fair to assume SWA/B6 fired IT guys at Frontier, at least their system could get you a ticket.

It's interesting that you can change ANYTHING in your profile -- including your gender -- but you can't change your (incorrect) birthdate, because that's grayed out. Does anyone know if it's always been that way? Seems pretty bizarre. Hopefully, there's some program Frontier can run that sincs the correct birthdays they have in THEIR system (the one rez agents see) with the incorrect birthdays that are in the online profiles (which, oddly, are the ones used in precheck).
Hoping this gets fixed before my next flight, which is still more than a week away. I'd be happy to talk to someone at Frontier to try to speed this fix along -- or at least make sure they're aware of the problem and learn they're working on it -- but I have no idea who I could talk to. It's not like I can make a phone call or start a chat and reach an empowered employee.

My return flight ATL-LAS still hasn't posted from last Wed. Usually it posts right away. The LAS-ATL posted soon after landing. Anyone else have this issue ?
I didn't get pre-check on my AA flight this morning. Didn't realize until the tsa guy said you dont have precheck. I always use my Global Entry card as my ID so TSA guy knew i should have pre-check.Upon closer inspection he said it was due to incorrect birthday. But in this case it was off by a few days and a few years. Had to go to check-in counter and have them change birthday on ticket reservation. This is getting pretty strange. I am positive I didn't put in the wrong birthday. No issues with my recent Alaska, Southwest or Spirit flights.

At least AA -- and most other airlines -- are capeable of fixing precheck errors if you complain about them. With Frontier, that doesn't seem like it's going to happen. I did stop by the counter before my flight. The agent tried, but no dice. She said her system showed my birthday as being correct -- just like what the online chat agent said.

iahphx... I noticed that, too, regarding being unable to change your birthday in the profile due it being grayed out. The only other thing I saw that was grayed out was my stored credit card number. I don't ever remember *anything* being grayed out and unable to be changed in the past, but I hadn't really looked for it anytime recently, either. When I log in to my profile, I'm usually just checking my miles and upcoming flight information to make sure that stuff is correct; I hardly ever actually check my personal information because that should never change, right? If it wasn't for the current snafu and my trying to book a flight a couple of days ago, I would be blissfully unaware of my birthday being wrong.
This snafu doesn't affect app bookings, but when I tried to book on my home computer a few days ago, the birthday shows up correct on the passenger information screen, but after you select your seats is when you get the error message and are completely stuck.
That's the problem with the budget airlines: every phone/chat agent you would have dealings with are not empowered to do anything but the most basic functions. I am not upset that the agents can't access all of our profiles --they shouldn't have access to a stored credit card, for example-- but there needs to be a way for someone in IT to see what is going on. A someone that is higher up and more empowered. Does anybody have Barry Biffle's email or phone number?
GumboCook... that is really weird about the precheck not being recognized on AA.

I fly a lot with Southwest and AA, occasionally with Delta and United, but never before with Frontier. Wanted to give Frontier a try though because they offer non-stop flights to/from my planned destination that depart at very reasonable times of the day and for great prices.
I created a brand new account with Frontier early this morning ~4am CST. The DOB in my profile shows 1 day early even though I selected the correct date initially when creating my account. Also, the DOB in the iPhone app is also showing as 1 day early, but the phone app just appears to load the same webpage as from a computer.
I then attempted to purchase the $99 Den discount subscription, and both attempts failed and gave me a generic red error message. I tried a different credit card with both attempts, and there's not even a temp authorization showing on my credit card, so they didn't attempt an authorization.
Not really sure what to do and more importantly if I want to deal with this. My plans are to fly 6 one-way flights over the next 21 days, and I had my credit card prepared to purchase my flights with Frontier. However, I really dislike having to deal with data problems in company's system.
This reminds me of the hassles that I dealt with earlier this year when getting my online profile created with the state's toll tag authority. While I had an "account" in their system, it didn't link properly to my login ID during the initial creation, so effectively I was locked out of logging into my toll tag account despite having an account. Took weeks and weeks and numerous phone calls to sort it out when dealing with IT people and phone reps of a state run organization. So Frontier isn't appearing much better.

Good news: I successfully checked in for my flight tonight w/ my KTN.
Bad news: my B-day still off by 1 day.

So you got pre-check? I've got another flight next week, and am trying to decide whether to extend any effort to get my b-day fixed. If the system will actually give me precheck again, I'm good.
