Frontier Airlines - First time Customer questions

I'm trying to book frontier airlines tickets for the first time for family (4 tickets). I see that if I join DEN the DEN discount flight overall price (lower by $125) is coming out lower than the membership price ($99).
I also have the BOA travel rewards card that will reimburse the frontier DEN membership price.
I have these 3 questions
Will Frontier DEN membership price of $99 show as a separate transaction in the BOA site?
Is it easy to cancel DEN membership online anytime before it renews?
Is it worth to buy the WORKS package if I will have 2 check in bags for the family than paying individually for the 2 bags to check-in?

Hi-
Frontier charges a "Carrier Interface Charge" per person each direction if booked online. If you can travel to the airport and book at ticket counter today you will not pay this fee. You can see this fee on the last page of the checkout page under fees/taxes.
Check the bag price fees and figure roughly what your taking. Everyone gets 1 free personal item size to carry on.

IIRC, if you buy discount den while buying your plane ticket it will be all one transaction. You need to buy discount den separately first if you want it to show as a separate line item on your statement.

I have never had trouble cancelling it online. There's a 'cancel membership' link right on your account page.

Not sure about your third question. You can check bag prices here: https://www.flyfrontier.com/travel/t...s-for-new-trip. I would expect the works to be more expensive then just paying for the checked bags since it includes seats and added flexibility, but cheaper than buying everything it includes separately.

as artedm suggested, buy the tkt at the airport for everyone; the saving from CIC fees could likely be the same as the DD fares most time

Thank you all.
Should I go to the airport where I plan to board the flight or any airport where Frontier flies (there is one closer to my home).

Any airport where Frontier flies is fine. Just make sure their ticket counter will be open when you go (some Frontier cities only have flights on certain days of the week or at very specific times of the day).

Since you get discount den for free, consider whether the pain of getting to the airport counter is worth whatever the expected price difference is. The CIC you save by booking at the counter is typically $23 per segment, unless it's a deep discount fare. So on a direct RT for a family of four you will save $184. Note that you cannot purchase discount den tickets at the airport, nor the Works. That said, I book at the counter whenever I can.

Based on all your replies, I went to the local airport and booked the tickets. Saved about $125 compared the discount den online price. Thanks all.

Should I enroll in "Frontier Miles" now? If yes, can I just enroll myself and claim points for this family travel - 4 tickets?

I also have the BOA premium credit. Will be booking checked baggage online (before travel) and get the $100 incidental travel credit.

Miles expire after six months of no activity and it's not as easy to get activity as it is with other airlines. No dining program, no surveys, etc. You either have to commit to flying them every six months or get their credit card and use it if you want to yet anything out of those miles.

do folks know that a fam member could buy tickets at the airport counter (for CIC fee waiver) for me with my 100k status acct? Also, will the benefits of elite status apply to the tkt purch at airport counter? Thx
