Existing YX website changes
YX booking engine does not display any flights for 10/01/2010 or beyond as Midwest flights; they are all labeled as F9.
I assume that something is being worked on, as there are some problems, such as wrong seat configurations for E-jets,, only full coach fares, etc.
Hope that any itineraries for 01 Oct and beyond will not have any problems with assigned seats being deleted/changed. Reservations booked on YX site for 01 Oct and beyond on YX-branded flights cannot be displayed. There is a message about a change, which requires you to contact the airline.

Beginning Octoboer 1st all flights are F9 coded per the integration timeline: http://www.frontiermidwest.com/weare...line/#branding. One month later they will have one website and at this point we are assuming it will just be Frontier's site.

Anything after that date has changed. New flight numbers, seat reassignment etc. If you have a reservation, it will require a phone call to reservations.

Here's something I'd like to see Frontier improve on their website: Processing of multi-segment trips. This is a big deal to me as I do it all the time for work and fairly often for leisure.
Examples: MKE-LGA out and EWR-MKE back, MKE-CMH out and MKE-DAY back, MKE-OMA out and MCI-MKE back. MKE-RDU out and DCA-MKE back. All four of those are real examples from my own travels. This works well to visit multiple clients on a single trip, or find better flight times or fares. With the last CMH-MKE flight at 4:30pm, if my client visit might run long I come home on the 9:00pm DAY-MKE flight.
On the Midwest site you click once on the main page to get to the multi-segment page. That gives you virtually all the functions you have on a conventional booking, only you can have multiple different segments.
On the Frontier site:
--It could be easier to find. Nothing tells you on the front page how to get to multi-segment trips. You have to try "more search options", which takes to you to a different screen where "multiple cities" is an option to click on.
--The results you receive do not show prices until you select flghts and move on. Midwest shows the per-segment cost on each possible flight for each leg right up front.
--There's no ability to choose Economy, Classic, or Classic Plus. You just get Economy.
--There's no way to get Stretch seating.
--It insists on automatically doing car shopping for your trip, which can take time to load.
--Seat maps are only available once you've gone through all the steps (including keying in all your information) right before the Purchase step.
I am sure they have plenty going on, but them multiple-city search option is a big step backwards from the Midwest site.

To circumvent the Frontier process, I end up searching one-way trips instead, so that I can see the pricing up-front. A huge waste of time for sure.

Of course, there are problems. I posted that a few weeks ago. I have award travel in December booked, as expected, my seat had disappeared and had to be reassigned.
Anything after that date has changed. New flight numbers, seat reassignment etc. If you have a reservation, it will require a phone call to reservations.

I have almost exactly the same scenario. I called a month or two ago, when they changed the lettering of the seats and deleted our seat assignements. I tried calling last night, late, when I noticed all assigned seats were wiped out and flights re-numbered, but I decided to not hold on the phone any longer, as some sleep was more important. Not going to be a good day to call today, either.
However, I did encounter a "friendly" CSR who was able to leave me in row five on one of my flights.
Give them a few days until the dust settles and try again. I seemed to get the impression it was all about what dates your travel was. Certain times, they had to move me. Others, you were able to retain the same seats.

It appears that the Award Travel function is not working on the YX website. Even the most undesirable itineraries have no availability, though not one seat has been booked for requested dates and routing.
A couple of days ago, major changes were made to the site, which are messing things up. I realize that the modifications are probably in preparation for the abandonment of the site, but in the meantime, it should be functional.
