Will award travel capability return to the YX website or is it better to call in? I'd rather book online so I have printed proof of reservation these days, hate to call in and be on hold for a long time.

Today, all the mileage in my Midwest Miles account was zeroed out. No emails and not a word of explanation on the website. My account didn't even show any activity with the miles being subtracted. Just a starting and ending balance of 0. Over 4,400 miles disappeared completely. Way to go, Republic!

UPDATE: Never mind. The miles reappeared at 4:00 AM EDT. I must have logged in while the site was undergoing some kind of update. Still, why should the miles be zeroed out during an update?

I've seen the same thing happen during other periods of updates, upgrades, or site maintenance. I wouldn't panic about anything that happens in the coming months as the integration continues.

Or at 3 AM for that matter. I'm surprised that you were able to login at that time, I think the easiest thing to do is just shut the login area down while they are working on it instead of letting people login and get freaked out.

The E190 seat maps for a period of time before 01/06/2011 show all 2x2 seating, including the first four rows (STRETCH). Is this an error?

Going forward after 06Jan, configuration reverts to A+DF for rows 1-4.

BTW, I believe that the same seat maps are displayed on the F9 site for the same timeframe.

Why are only H and Y fares coming up for flights that have no seats booked? The same flights are pricing out hundreds of dollars lower on the F9 site. Is this supposed to be to discourage bookings on YX, as knope eluded to before, or is it a glitch?

To help us figure out what is going on, when you come across something that you believe is an error. Post the flight dates and city pairs you are searching. And we'll go and investigate what's wrong. That way we can get these things fixed for you all as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance!

The flights that were pricing out only in H and Y class in Dec have just been corrected. Q fares are showing and pricing matches to the F9 site. Was that you, MostlyAir?

The Dec seat maps have not changed, though.

This was done to avoid unseating people if they had to do an aircraft swap in the future. It still is a 2x2 plane just not displaying the 5 seats that are missing and can be booked like one.

No, I'm starting to have a feeling when pricing submits a sub that fares go Y until the sub has completed. Sub: Pricing information for flights.

YX website now provides flight data info, by clicking on the flight number on the search results page.

Typical display:

Flight Performance
YX 960
7:05am MKE to LAX
80% On Time
(within 15 min of scheduled)

6% Delayed
(more than 30 min after scheduled)

0% Cancelled
Calculated from flights operated in June 2010.

What happened to the other 14%?

The other 14% is between 15 and 30 minutes. It not required by the DOT so we don't display it. I agree it is confusing.
