Some earlier problems are back on track:
Access to previously-made reservations on the Midwest site
Reservations past 10/1 which were previously made on the Midwest site were recently locked out -- when you clicked on them you got a message that there had been a schedule change and you needed to contact a Midwest AIrlines schedule change agent. I have two such reservations, and they are both now available to view and modify.
Seat Assignments after 10/1
When these reservations were locked out, I checked seatmaps for the seats I had reserved and they were open, meaning I had lost my previously-assigned seat assignments. Those seat assignments have been restored -- I see them when I access the reservations, and the seats show as reserved on seatmaps.
Fares on the Midwest site
When the flights on the Midwest site changed from YX to F9 flights, fares displayed were high-tier coach fares. That has been resolved, and discount fares are now available on the Midwest site for travel this fall and well into next year.
Frontier selling three-fare
Starting 9/30, all the former YX flights have the three-tier fares available on the Frontier site, including RJs.
With this development, none-elite flyers can now obtain Stretch seating at booking by buying a Classic Plus fare, or you can upgrade at check in for $25 over the lowest bucket. The Classic Plus fare appears to be $55-75 dollars higher than economy in the former YX system. That's more than the current $25 advance today, but it comes with a lot more...50% bonus miles, refundable ticket, Best Care Club access, free bags, etc.
What I really hope to see is the ability to upgrade to Classic or Classic Plus on tickets purchased elsewhere. Even if they do choose to go this route, it probably would take some time to make that work out technically.

I now have not only a Midwest PNR, but also a Frontier PNR for each record.
